Lunations and Long-term Aspects The Full Moon on February 7 is in Leo, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel which should bring a culmination or shift to a new phase to something in this part of your life. If your birthday is within a day or so of June 9 this lunation forms an aspect pattern known as a Triangle of Potential with your natal Sun which will tie your 3rd house as described above with your 9th which includes legal matters, higher learning, politics, religion, foreign cultures, beliefs and expectations and long-distance travel. For example, an idea which relates to one of these 9th house matters may come to fruition. Mars is retrograde in Virgo, your 4th house of home environment, memories, endings, and cultural roots. Since Mars provides much of your energy and motivation, when he goes retrograde you may find that you don't feel much like doing anything. This is most likely to show up with activities related to your home. In other words, if you planned on painting your living room you probably won't feel like doing that anytime soon. Also be aware that you may encounter a few breakdowns and repairs. If there are any family problems brewing, this could be a time of frustration or you may tend to be more passive than usual addressing them. This can also be a time of consideration with regard to problems you've been ignoring. Mars rules your 11th house, which comprises friends, organizations, group activities, networking and goals, which may also be affected by a withdrawal of ambition. If this turns out to be the case at least you'll have some idea regarding why your usual get up and go got up and went. Mars goes retrograde every two years and will typically mean that nearly half the year is somewhat lost as far as making significant progress is concerned. The good news is that sometimes you simply need the rest and often don't much care whether you accomplish anything during that time or not because you're burned out. This would certainly make sense for most Gemini types who seldom sit still for long. Saturn goes retrograde the same day as the Full Moon which will keep him in Libra for quite a while longer. This is a good thing since Libra is the sign of his exaltation, meaning his energy has a more positive spin. Influences such as discipline, organization and responsibility are emphasized rather than his more onerous side of restrictions and delays, though while retrograde these are still likely to appear. Libra is your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation so you can expect that these matters will experience a bit of a slow-down during this time. Saturn retrograde cycles tend to bring out structural issues, whether they're at a mental, physical, emotional or spiritual level. Particularly if you've been neglecting anything in this part of your life this transit can help you identify it and subsequently make appropriate corrections. Since Saturn excels at organization, this can be very useful for Gemini natives who tend to scatter their energies amidst numerous simultaneous activities which isn't always conducive to making progress. Neptune enters Pisces this month, the sign he rules, and will remain there until March 2025. This is going to give Pisces a tremendous amount of energy which you should be able to access through your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status. Inspiration is one thing you can expect making this a time where you can afford to dream big. Neptune requires constant monitoring, however, which should be relatively easy for you given that you're an Air Sign ruled by Mercury so have a reasonable share of logic going for you. Your intuition will be sharpened and will sometimes trump your mind, which is okay, but be aware if things get a bit out of hand and defy reality. Neptune at its worst can bring self-deception and delusions as well as having a tendency to dissolve things. Neptune can make you invisible, which is the last thing you may want in your career, unless you happen to be a spy or involved in something else covert. Being an inspiration to others is possible, but so is being viewed as unrealistic or a dreamer. Your best bet is to consciously use this energy the way it benefits you the most rather than allowing it to have its way with you. The New Moon on February 21 is also in Pisces which may bring a new career opportunity your way. There is a tremendous amount of energy in Pisces at this time due to the presence of the Sun, Moon, Neptune and Mercury all in that sign. If your birthday is right around May 23 this may not work in your favor. In fact, it could serve to make you invisible as noted above. Thus, if you've done something for which you deserve credit, be sure to speak up and be counted. Jupiter is in Taurus, your 12th house of angels and demons. This can be an excellent placement for expanding upon your spiritual side. This house includes dreams, inspiration, transcendence, enlightenment and all those things which are going to sound a lot like Neptune and Pisces since they are associated with the zodiacal 12th house and thus define it. However, be cautious with regard to illusions, delusions, self-undoing and hidden enemies. Jupiter is usually a benefic planet but make sure you don't get carried away. Jupiter is trining Pluto in Capricorn, your 8th house of transformations, sex, death and regeneration, shared resources and intense experiences. This can bring some interesting experiences your way of a spiritual nature which have a strong and lasting effect. There are several aspects in effect this month which can bring enlightenment or deception. Your best bet is to use your Gemini logic to assess their value and use them accordingly. |
