Lunations and Long-term Aspects The Full Moon on February 7 is in Leo, your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, networking and goals which should bring a culmination or shift to a new phase to something in this part of your life. If your birthday is within a day or so of October 12 the Sun - Moon opposition, which by definition is the Full Moon, will form an aspect pattern known as a Triangle of Potential with your natal Sun, which is in fellow Air Sign, Aquarius. Aquarius is your 5th house of ego definition, romance, children, entertainment, creativity and speculation. Combining this with your 11th makes it a favorable time to plan a get-together of some sort. It can also be an excellent time to promote your creative work or engage in some speculative activity. Saturn goes retrograde the same day as the Full Moon. This will keep him in your sign for several more months. He will station on your natal Sun if your birthday is right around October 23, which may have an interesting effect. Saturn is exalted in Libra which tends to bring out his positive side which includes discipline, responsibility and organization. Retrograde, however, typically means delays or at least a time of contemplation of those things which need to be restructured. Saturn is quincunx Venus, your sign ruler, at this time, further bringing positive energy to this aspect, especially since Venus is in Pisces, sign of her exaltation. Thus you have two planets in exaltation nudging you toward a change of direction which is likely to apply to your 6th house which comprises work, service, health and pets. This doesn't necessarily mean this is the time to change jobs but it does imply it's the time to start thinking about it and taking the necessary steps such that you're ready to move forward later this year. This could entail updating your resume, obtaining information about training opportunities, or simply gathering information about what you'd rather do to earn a living. Mars is retrograde in Virgo, your 12th house of angels and demons. That house contains everything from soup to nuts, such as your fantasies, inspiration, enlightenment, spirituality, the collective consciousness, institutions such as prisons and hospitals, illusions, delusions, self-undoing and hidden enemies. Since Mars is what provides us with energy and motivation, when he's retrograde things tend to grind to a screeching halt. It can also be a time when anything you've been suppressing starts to build up pressure and demand resolution once Mars goes direct again. Mars rules your polar sign, Aries, which is your 7th house of relationships. Relationships are important to Libras as indicated by the fact Libra rules the zodiacal 7th house. Therefore, Mars retrograde could be telling you that there is something going on with one of your relationships which needs to be resolved at a spiritual level. It could also indicate that someone close to you is trying to undermine you in some way. With Pluto in fellow Cardinal Sign, Capricorn, which represents your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories and endings, this placement may be able to help you get to the bottom of things if it has anything to do with this part of your life. If your birthday is right around October 2 then Pluto is squaring your natal Sun which could force the issue. Pluto transits can be difficult and they do last for a long time due to the fact this bad boy moves quite slowly and goes retrograde for half the year, typically dragging out the transit for as long as three years. While his excavations can be downright painful at times, when all is said and done healing is possible because all the corruption is exposed and eliminated. The New Moon on February 21 is in Pisces, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. This should bring something new your way in this part of your life. However, you may receive some news or information which rubs you the wrong way or doesn't seem right in some way. If there is anything about your job which you aren't comfortable with this may be aggravated by Mars retrograde in the house opposite this one. Be aware of your physical health at this time as well. If you're having any vague or unusual symptoms be sure to pay attention and get appropriate attention from a healthcare professional. However, whatever it is may be difficult to diagnose or may have roots in the frustrations in your life. This is not to say that the symptoms aren't real or an actual disease because emotional turmoil can definite affect your health.
