Cancer - Pisces

What you like about each other:  Emotional accessibility, sensitivity, lack of interest in harsher areas of life.

What drives you crazy:  Very little.

This couple may seem rather quiet, nondescript and possibly even boring to others.  But guess what? They couldn't care less what you think because they're really quite happy.  Both are touchy-feely water signs and ruled by planets that drive the emotions as well as dreams and illusions.  Their environment is warm and comfortable and not unlike the womb.  The modalities even mesh nicely with one Cardinal and the other Mutable, meaning there won't be many arguments over who's in charge.  Is this a nice little fairytale world or what?

I suppose you could criticize these two, but why?  They're not only happy but probably a lot happier than just about everyone else.  They may live in modest circumstances but chances are that little cottage and ten year old car are paid for and they have a nice chunk in the bank for a rainy day.  Their children are loved and looked after and while they may not be the flashiest or smartest kids on the block, they are also happy, which makes them far better off than the offspring of that Gemini-Sag couple up the road.

Of course this peaceful union could be ruined by afflicted Moons or Ascendants, but generally speaking this will be the Ward and June Cleaver union of the 1950s.  It would be nice if this couple would get out more and share their secrets of a happy life, but the real secret is inherent in the stars and their general acceptance with the way life is.  They may not strive for worldly honors or advanced degrees or spectacular salaries, though of course there is nothing that says they won't attain these as well.  Contentment often empowers people to achieve great things since their energy is not dissipated by dissatisfaction and frustration.  So in all likelihood, these folks will get to exactly where they want to be.  It may not be the destination we would choose, but they'll be happy to be there which is more than most of the rest of us can say.  Rather than criticize we might reconsider what it is that keeps us from that same simple joy in life that they seem to have found so easily.  Maybe it's the fact that life really doesn't have to be so serious and difficult after all.
