Gemini - Capricorn

What you like about each other:  Gemini knowledge, Capricorn work ethic, Gemini effervescence, Capricorn reserve and dry sense of humor.

What drives you crazy:  Gemini multiplexing and lack of focus, Capricorn sarcasm & pessimism, Capricorn workaholic tendencies.

Here's another pair that appear to be quite different, but can work well together if they combine their strengths.  We have a Cardinal Sign and a Mutable Sign, which usually lends itself well to a partnership, unless the Mutable Sign has a Cardinal Ascendant or preponderance of Cardinalism in their Chart.  Assuming this is not the case, Cappy will take the lead and Gemini will happily follow.  Twins are busy all the time and usually start a new project every 37 hours or so.  I'm kidding, but you know what I mean.  Twins are interested in so many different things and distract so easily, they have a tendency to get involved with multiple endeavors.  It is therefore somewhat difficult for them to finish anything, either because the project gets old and figuratively dies, gets lost, they forget about it, or the Twin loses interest.  With Cappy in the equation, it's much more likely to get finished, particularly if it has any money making potential or commercial value.

Cappies are social climbers and security freaks.  They don't believe that it's possible to have too much money in the bank.  They're conservative by nature, so not given to reckless entrepreneurial pursuits (that would be their neighboring sign, Sagittarius), but are also a good judge of something that will have mass appeal.  So if their partner Twin is on to something lucrative, Cappy will see to it that it gets done, if the Goat has to do it personally.

Gemini's are seldom shy and retiring and this is another complementary area for these two.  Twins will generally "show well" and in social situations pick up the slack of a Goat who's more interested in checking the day's stock prices than getting to know anyone new.  Goats will do okay and be less introverted at professional conferences and seminars, but parties are not their favorite sport.  They much prefer a small group of no more than six or eight and better yet if it's at Cappy's home.  That way if s/he gets uncomfortable at all, leaving the room to check on something in the kitchen or assuring all the other guests are comfortable are viable options.  And speaking of sports, Goats are more likely to be interested in activities that involve individuals competing against each other as opposed to teams.  You may get them to a swimming or ice skating competition, but forget getting them to a basketball game.  (Only exception here is if it's a championship game that will mean additional status for the participating school or city, if a professional team.  THEN Cappy may actually care.)

These two may tangle a bit on emotional issues.  As an Air sign, Gemini likes to talk and does it well.  They are also comfortable talking about emotions and like to analyze them and figure them out.  Cappies on the other hand guard their emotions like Fort Knox and are often less than willing to talk about them.  This can make Goats seem very cold and uncaring when in reality they simply don't want to show they have emotions because they're embarrassed if they lose control.  Therefore, they avoid any situation where that might happen.  So Twins will have to assure that they provide a very safe environment for the Goat and never ridicule any feeling that they reveal or it will be the last one they ever see.  Once that particular communication bridge is established, this should be a good team.
