May 2007 Forecast

Key Events:

Full Moon 5/02/2007

New Moon 5/16/2007

Full Moon 5/31/2007

Neptune Retrograde 5/25/2007

The Full Moon on May 2nd is in neighboring sign, Scorpio, which should highlight your possessions, pleasures and/or comforts in some way.  Thus, it's a good time to pamper or reward yourself in some manner for an achievement, no matter how minor.  The New Moon on the 16th occurs in Taurus, your Natural 8th House, which relates to your intimate relationships, other people's resources, healing of wounds (both physical and emotional), and renewal.  New Moons usually herald a new beginning or phase, so this could very well usher in such events, though they could possibly cause some restlessness or need for adjustment.  The Sun is there, also, until the 21st; Mercury is there until the 11th.  This will bring some further emphasis to this area along with good communications and data exchange, which should be a positive thing.  Bear in mind that a new approach is probably what is needed in order to resolve whatever situation you may be dealing with.  Libras are all about relationships and compromise comes easily for you.  Just make sure that you're not the one doing all the giving.

There's a second Full Moon this month on the 31st, which is known as a Blue Moon.  It doesn't occur very often, thus the expression "Once in a Blue Moon."  This one is in Sagittarius, your Natural 3rd House, which governs your thoughts, ideas, mental acuity, neighbors and short journeys.  If you've been dealing with something in one of these areas, this will likely signal the conclusion or at the least the end of a phase.  There are two other planets camped out in Sagittarius, i.e. Jupiter and Pluto.  Both have been there for a while, are currently retrograde, and aren't leaving anytime soon.  When retrograde, Jupiter will generally call attention to ethics issues; when posigrade he tends to expand or multiple anything he touches.  Pluto will frequently dig up old issues that require resolution before you can move on.  This is all in positive aspect to your Sign, meaning that it contains various opportunities, more than likely for you to reassess your thought patterns and determine if they're serving you well.  If you've felt somewhat stuck for a while, maybe this will help you determine what you need to do to move forward.

Neptune goes retrograde on the 25th in Your Natural 5th House, which covers your love life, children and creativity.  When Neptune is retrograde it tends to dissolve old boundaries and offer new insights and perspectives than formerly held.  You're probably already open-minded enough and have an inherent love of beauty, so this transit is likely to be relatively pleasant.  It will do wonderful things to your creativity over time.  The one thing to look out for is to make sure that you're not only seeing what you want to see.  Neptune is loaded with inspiration, but reality is often fogged over, so make sure that you give any ideas a sanity check before investing your life savings.  Being too idealistic with your love life or children can cause a lot of disappointment for you and heartache for them as they can easily feel as if they can't possibly meet your standards, which is probably correct.  If you are accused of such feelings, tune into that Libra sense of fairness coupled with your Air Sign logic and change your attitude accordingly.

Your work environment has probably been filled with surprises and disruptions for a while and this won't be changing anytime soon.  There is also the possibility for change.  The next time you're complaining about how messed up things are on the job you might just mention that "Uranus is transiting my 6th House" and see what kind of reaction you get; astrologically it says it all.  Mars is in the same neighborhood the first half of the month and could conceivably infuse some additional energy in that area.  These transits will also generate some restlessness and the possibly need for adjustments, so bear this in mind.  Sometimes patience with a situation only subjects you to prolonged discomfort when the ultimate solution is to move on.

When Mars leaves your 6th House he'll move into your 7th, which obviously isn't rocket science.  This is your House of relationships.  As already stated, I know that this is an important area of your life and Libra's natural Zodiacal domain.  This could cause some possible arguments or, if you're lucky, just bring lots of energy and activity that you'll enjoy.  If it's the former, draw from your natural sense of fairness, listen sincerely and ride the wave without giving in just for the sake of ending the conflict.

Your ruling planet, Venus, is in your Natural 10th House which includes your career and reputation.  This should bode well for activities in this area.  Bear in mind that your job (6th House) is the day to day way you make a living and your career (10th House) is at a higher level, i.e. your professional goals and how you're viewed by your community.  You will be viewed very favorably at this time and should keep your eyes open for possible opportunities.  With the world going crazy as it has been lately, your sense of fairness and people skills will be viewed as especially valuable.

This is likely to be an active month for you.  There is a lot going on with all your relationships, directly and indirectly, but your particular way of handling situations and dealing with people is likely to be a significant personal asset that is viewed very positively by those around you.
