This is your month, Virgo, with lots of action in your Sign besides the fact that you’ve either just had your Solar Return, or will within the next few weeks. The New Moon eclipse on the 11th reinforces your entrance into a new phase on a personal level, which is likely to feel the influence of Saturn, who enters Virgo on September 3rd. Saturn defines the boundaries and restrictions in our lives, including our attitude toward authority figures and the laws, written and unwritten, that they enforce. During this time restrictions are likely to be more apparent than usual, which is bound to bring its share of frustrations. As a stable, practical Earth Sign, however, you will deal with this better than most and it will help you define a more stable basis for your life and dealing with what it takes to be a functioning member of society. Your ruling planet, Mercury, spends most of the month in Libra, your natural 2nd House of possessions, finances as well as pleasures. This will be a good time for data gathering relative to these areas. If you’re thinking of making a major purchase, your portfolio needs review or you’re simply trying to put together a plan for taking better care of yourself, now is an excellent time to do so. Jupiter and Pluto are still in your Natural 4th House, which comprises your home environment. This includes everything that is a part of you as a result of your early home life. With Pluto hanging out in this neighborhood, he’ll be prompting you on an ongoing basis to discover and understand how your early family experiences influenced you, especially those things that you have attempted to ignore. Like it or not, you’ll be examining these events and their effect, which will give you an entirely different understanding than you’ve ever had before. Jupiter has a more benevolent effect. He expands what he touches and is frequently known for bringing good luck. For those of you born the first week of September, this may come disguised as a challenge or two that will ultimately turn out to your advantage. You’ve probably been experiencing changes and surprises in your relationships for quite a while now as Uranus has cruised through your Natural 7th House. This includes all your one on one relationships, such as your close friends, relatives, and business associates, as well as your significant other. Knowing how you Virgos love detail, you may as well know that Uranus has been there in Pisces since the spring of 2003. If you take a few moments to think back over the past four and a half years I’m sure you’ll be able to identify several changes that have taken place in this area. You have probably been surrounded by numerous individuals whom you truly believed were not wrapped too tight. They may have even had an unpleasant influence on your life in some way, through no fault of your own. Knowing how helpful Virgos can be, you may have tried to help one of these people and had a personal introduction to the phrase, No good deed goes unpunished. The real question is what you learned from the experience. Did you get soured on the human race, vow to never help anyone again, or possibly learn a few things about your own propensity for making excuses? As a perfectionist, you get uncomfortable real fast when you do something wrong and are pretty quick to start explaining yourself. You thus may be too susceptible to believing others’ excuses as well. As a practical Earth Sign, cause and effect are something you usually understand, and this could give you some definite insights into how it works in people’s lives. You’re probably fairly analytical but haven’t applied it to people before. The challenge is to get a grip on how people’s choices determine their lives without being too judgmental, a lesson that service-oriented but critical Virgo would do well to learn. The first week of the month Uranus will be squaring Mars, which throws a significant amount of energy in that same relationships direction, in this case more than likely related to your career. If things in this area have been a bit stirred up lately, this is probably the reason. Now is a really good time to curb that critical Virgo tongue of yours or you might stir up more problems than you care to deal with since you are likely to be perceived as aggressive, regardless of how helpful you may intend to be with your remarks. Any confrontations that result are likely to be less than enchanting, though with Venus softening the influence a bit, they’re also likely to help you adjust your attitude a bit and improve how you deal with people in general. All in all, this month will be more about relationships and personal growth than anything else. More than likely that probably sounds like life in general, but in this case the lessons are likely to be more pointed and lasting, provided you aren’t afraid to look yourself in the eye in the mirror and admit that at least once in a while, something may actually be your fault.t. |
