This is one of those Heinz-57 variety matches that have innumerable possibilities, especially when you factor in the fact that REAL people will have Moon signs and Ascendants in the mix as well.  In cases like these, however, those additions should bring more stability, not less.  Here we have someone ruled by the Sun, giver of life and center of the solar system, paired with someone ruled by Neptune, master of illusion, fantasy and imagination.  One is Fire, the other Water, which can result in soggy ashes, steam, or a combination of both.  That translates to the Pisces putting such a damper on the Leonine ego that the Fire is virtually extinguished or conversely, the Lion overwhelming the Fish and being so oblivious to Piscean emotional needs that the Fish's pond essentially evaporates.  You can always hope that if there are some Cardinal or even Earth planets, Moons or Ascendants up for grabs that the Fish gets them.  Otherwise the Lion is very likely to walk right over the top of the poor Fish.

Nonetheless, this is another pairing where there is much to be learned from each other.  Both of these signs can be fiercely loyal and even if they tangle with one another from time to time they will virtually shred anyone who says anything bad about their partner.  People may be inclined to wonder what these two are doing together, but in reality it's really none of their business as long as the Lion and Fish are happy with each other.  There is every possibility that the Lion really likes all that depth of emotion and the Fish enjoys all that sunlight filtering through the pond.  There are numerous traits that can be very complementary here and very satisfying to both.  Leo needs to respect Pisces' feelings and not go off roaring about something in that leonine way that leaves the Fish flopping on the bank gasping for breath.  And the Fish needs to be cautious that he doesn't entirely overwhelm his or her pet lion with a bunch of sloppy emotion that makes the other uncomfortable.  With those issues properly managed there is no reason why these two can't be quite happy together.
