The Full Moon on the 30th falls in your Sign, which is likely to have some personal significance.  A Full Moon usually signifies a culmination or ending of some sort and in your Natural 1st House it's likely to apply at the personal level.  When I say personal level what I'm talking about is your core being and personality, not just something that has an impact on a superficial level.  If you have any self-defeating behaviors, now is a good time to take a good, hard look at them and define a plan to get rid of them while you have some astrological assistance.  You have until the 30th, so get thinking about it now.

In all cases across the Zodiac a person's greatest strength is also their greatest weakness.  In the case of Cappies, whom I know particularly well, you can tend to be quite stuffy, practical and demand structure in all aspects of your life.  While you recognize and understand authority, you don't always respect it if you disagree.  You're all about ambition and social climbing and don't necessarily give a rat's ass who you step on along the way.  While your Natal Ascendant (which marks the boundary of your Natal 1st House) and Natal Moon Sign (the Sign where the Moon was located when you were born) can temper these general characteristics as well as Progressions, this is your basic makeup.

Needless to say there are advantages and disadvantages to these traits.  In general, the one thing that Cappies really need to do is lighten up.  Know when enough is enough and chill out once in a while.  While security is important, it's equally important to enjoy the fruits of your labor.  And I'm not talking about looking at how your investments are doing and calculating their net gain over the past six weeks.  Sorry, but that simply does not count.  I hardly expect you to become a smell-the-flowers-along-the-way person; but surely you can identify some self-defeating behavior you can discard and enjoy life a bit.

There are a couple planets that are more than likely contributing to this concept, for good or ill.  Neptune has been retrograde in your Natural 2nd House of possessions, comforts and pleasures for quite a while.  The King of the Deep is considerably idealistic but can also throw some illusion and deception in the mix, particularly while RX.  Therefore, take a good, hard look at how you feel about your possessions, which, by the way, also include your physical body.  Are you taking them too seriously or setting impossible goals for yourself?  If you're not sure, talk to someone older and wiser whom you respect and get their opinion.

Another influence which could work in your favor is Uranus, who is currently in your Natural 3rd House of intellect, short journeys and early childhood experiences.  Uranus is the planet of unexpected events, disruptions, surprises and change.  Often what he brings is not particularly welcome, but on the other hand he can precipitate change which is often positive.  If your birthday is around January 7 - 11, this could give you a nice boost toward making any necessary changes.  He goes retrograde on the 24th, about a week before that Full Moon, so make use of it to change one of your thoughts or opinions that is ultimately not in your best interest.

Mars will be in your Natural 4th House, which encompasses your home environment, until the 25th.  This could cause some possible contention at home or perhaps precipitate a breakdown of some sort.  In general, Mars is raw energy, so hopefully you can channel it in a positive way, perhaps taking care of any home repairs or chores that need to be done.  However, if you need to purchase something for your home of a mechanical or electronic nature, do it either before June 16 or after July 10.  This is because on the 16th Mercury goes retrograde again.

If you've been reading these horoscopes for a while you know all about what happens when this little beggar goes RX.  However, if you're not familiar with it here's the Readers Digest version:  Mercury rules communications or all sorts, whether it's between people, mechanical parts or electrons and when he goes RX these activities do not go well.  Misunderstandings, breakdowns, computer crashes, cell phone glitches, traffic signals--you name it--all tend to go on the fritz.  If you take ownership or purchase anything during one of these periods it is likely to have a virtual curse on it forever.  So whatever you do, don't buy something new during that time unless you're prepared to have problems with it on a regular basis.  On the positive side, Mercury RX is a good time to redo, rethink or rework things, so it actually will help you if you're working on one of those self-defeating behaviors, especially if it happens to have anything to do with a one-on-one relationship of a personal or business nature.  This is because Mercury will be in Cancer during this time, which is your Natural 7th House of relationships.

While the Sun transits Gemini, your Natural 6th House of work, health and pets, these areas are likely to be highlighted.  Pay attention and take note of anything that comes along in those areas.  If you're a typical Cappy, more than likely work plays a big part in your life and is going to tie into those personal issues in one way or another.  When the Sun goes into Cancer on the 22nd, however, it will begin Cappy's Solar Opposition period.  Keep an eye out on and around your half-birthday since this can usually also bring something to your attention, sometimes in a rather dramatic manner.  It's not always detrimental, but in some cases you may be more prone to accidents or problems at this time.  If you haven't already figured out what you need to be doing as implied above, then something may happen during this time that will force you to recognize it.  The Universe is always more than willing to lend a helping hand in our quest for personal improvement.

Venus slips into Leo on the 6th, which is where your Sign Ruler, Saturn, has been hanging out for quite a while now.  This is your Natural 8th House of intimate relationships, death & regeneration (usually in a figurative sense), and shared resources (a.k.a. other people's money).  These areas have probably been under intense scrutiny for quite a while, especially while Saturn was RX a while back and you probably already identified something in that area that needed some attention, which is more than likely in-work.  Venus coming into that territory should take some of the seriousness out of it and help you identify some positive elements of those changes, whatever they may be.  This will be especially true on the 30th, when these two planets come eye-to-eye.  If you haven't seen the advantages to those soul-testing changes beforehand, you will now and see how they've actually worked to your benefit.

Thus, June 30th should be a significant day for you, between the Full Moon and this nice conjunction between your Sign Ruler and the Goddess of Love.  A lot is going on this month for you, but it also appears to represent a positive transition to happier times if you'll let it.  The Universe has a way of helping us attain our goals in life, even when we're not consciously aware of what they are.  So listen up this month, Cappy, and see if you're not better off a month from now.

(P.S.  As a Cappy myself, I have my radar deployed and my fingers crossed.)
