One thing worth mentioning, which will differ slightly for each Gemini and may even be past for those of you born in late May, but December generally marks your solar opposition period.  This will generally be around the time of your half-birthday.  This is usually a significant time in some way as the transiting Sun opposes your natal Sun.  Its effect will be personal and is likely to draw attention to something in your life that you're either doing correctly or needs some work.  Be careful during this time because for various reasons, it can sometimes cause us to be more accident-prone than usual, possibly because it can tend to inflate our ego into thinking we're omnipotent.  Trust me, you're not, so don't take any unnecessary or foolish risks.

Saturn is moving through Virgo, your Natural 4th House of home environment, which will probably stir up a reminder or two of your obligations and responsibilities there.  December 1 - 3 the Sun will shed a bit more light on this subject and could manifest itself as a few untimely requests from your significant other, more than likely in a way that you may find annoying.  Fortunately that aspect will be short-lived, so you should be able to remain pleasant long enough to ride it out and maybe even take care of a few things in the process.  Whatever you do, don't let it detract from the niceties that could be coming your way from Venus. 

On the 19th Saturn will go retrograde.  During this time, your subconscious will be ruminating on issues relevant to, you guessed it, your home environment.  If there is anything that requires more structure or organization or has been neglected, you'll figure out what it is and be motivated to take care of business when he goes direct in the first part of May .

Between December 4 - 10 the Sun will square Uranus, which could bring about a surprise, unexpected event or disruption of some sort.  This could relate to a partnership or someone with something to do with your career.  It could also affect your status or reputation in some manner.

Mercury will be in a somewhat awkward quincunx with retrograde Mars from December 6 - 9.  This could stimulate a conversation relative in some way to your finances.  Something may be just about ready to breakdown such as your car or major appliance and the issue comes up for discussion on whether to go ahead and replace it or not.  From December 22 - 27 the Sun will oppose Mars and perhaps throw some more energy toward this same house that encompasses your finances and possessions.  Then, on the 23rd, the Full Moon occurs there as well, which could provide the final blow to whatever it is that's thinking about quitting just in time for the holidays.

Between December 9 - 15 you may encounter what seems to be an opportunity that could relate to going back to school, a trip abroad or perhaps something in the legal arena, which for these purposes includes any legal transaction from marriage to a property purchase.  Be cautious, however, since this will occur when the Sun sextiles Neptune, who is the master of illusion.  There is a good chance that this could evaporate as easily as it appeared.  At any rate, check things out very carefully before making any serious moves in this regard as it may not have any more substance than spam email.

The New Moon on the 9th could herald a new beginning of some sort, either in a relationship or perhaps in your attitude.  This could come about due to the fact that throughout December and half of January, Jupiter will be conjoining Pluto, a combination that is likely to stir up some interesting effects.  If you recall, Jupiter is in your 7th House of relationships, i.e. Sagittarius, so all this activity in that neighborhood is going to have a variety of effects that center on that area of your life.  Just a reminder that these relationships are not only of the romantic or significant other variety, but also include business partnerships, and any other one-on-ones such as close friends or relatives. 

That said, if there are any dysfunctionalities in there that could use some renovation, Pluto is going to come in with a wrecking ball and have at it, which has probably been happening so some degree for sometime now.  What Jupiter will bring to the party will be some deep introspection relative to your core beliefs as they apply to the people close to you.  If they aren't meeting your expectations, are not really your kind of people, for one reason or another such as too superficial, you'll be more aware of this than usual and be ready to make some serious changes in your life or at least the people in it. 

Between December 19 - 29 this will be further highlighted when the Sun joins in to create a soul-searching stellium.  Since this falls right over Christmas when there are likely to be numerous social gatherings of family and otherwise, this could have an interesting effect.  You're likely to see people with something resembling philosophical x-ray vision and either appreciate them in a new way or conversely wonder what you were ever thinking to hang out with them in the first place.   If your birthday falls roughly between June 16 - 21 this will have an even stronger effect as it opposes your natal Sun.

Between December 28 - January 4 the Sun will trine Saturn, which could precipitate a visit from a mentor or older friend whom you respect.  Around this same time, Venus and Mars will be in a position that may require a compromise, adjustment or justifying your current position regarding a relationship, perhaps the one that got its start earlier in the month.

This will be a very active month in the relationship area with a few things going on with your possessions and home as well.   Nothing is horribly ominous, but you're going to be giving a lot of consideration to issues you haven't paid much attention to before.  A few months from now, more than likely you're going to be a slightly different person than you are now with a new value set and possibly some new friends and acquaintances to go with it.  Remember that it's hard to soar with the eagles when you're surrounded by turkeys, and along similar lines, eagles don't flock.
