Mercury will enhance your communications in this area, i.e. when you're conveying the same thing to numerous people.  You'll be able to express your ideas in a way that others can understand plus you may learn or gain knowledge or information that may be useful to you personally.  The bad news is that on February 14, which represents a helluva Valentine's present from the Universe, he once again goes Retrograde.  If you're familiar with retrograde planets, particularly Mercury, you're already thinking, "Oh, crap, not again" and if it's a new concept you have probably already figured out that it ain't good.  And right you are.  In other words, if there is anything you need to convey to others, do it before the 14th.  If you need to buy a new car, computer, appliance, cell phone or just about anything else, do it before the 14th.  Either that, or wait until after March 8.  If you absolutely can't wait, then make sure you get an air-tight warranty because, believe me, you're going to need it. 

With Mercury in your 11th House, besides the general advise about avoiding purchases of things mechanical or electronic, if you want to introduce a new idea to your favorite group or perhaps take a step toward one of your hopes or wishes, you'll obtain much better results if you do it before the 14th or after March 8th.  No, I don't know why this is true, but it is.  On the positive side, if there is something that needs to be redone or rewritten in any way, Mercury retrograde is a good time to tackle it.  This is when thoughts and ideas tend to be more retrospective and anything that fits in this area will be enhanced.  If your club charter needs to be revamped, go for it.  But expressing any new ideas or dealing with anything that requires good communications of any form, be it electronic, snail mail or verbal, your chances of success are pretty pathetic.  And along those lines, if you haven't done your tax return by Valentine's Day then you ought to just bag that one until after March 8th as well.  If it's almost done but not mailed, it's a good time to check it with a fine tooth comb for errors.

The New Moon on February 17 will further highlight 11th House issues.  You may find something of note occurs with one of your current associations or maybe you'll become involved in a new setting of some sort.  New Moons usually indicate a new beginning of some sort so be on the lookout for something that will give you a boost in this area.

Venus is a good thing, as you can imagine.  The Goddess of Love usually won't do you wrong, though she will occasionally turn on you if she's in cahoots with the wrong planets.  For the next month or so, however, she is likely to be your friend in numerous ways.  She is currently in Pisces, your Natural 12th House.  This is your House of the subconscious.  This is likely to have a calming and positive effect on any issues you may be ruminating on.  Venus is at her best in Pisces, so any issues you're trying to work through will have a little extra help until February 21, when she moves into Aries.  She's a little bit dampened immersed in all that Aries testosterone, but you Rams will enjoy her company nonetheless.  When she moves into your Natural 1st House she'll enhance your natural charm and even your appearance.  You'll feel better about yourself and possibly even those around you, short of those you'd just as soon deal with in a typical Aries manner, which would most likely involve using your favorite weapon. 

Uranus is also in your Natural 12th House, has been for quite a while and will remain there for some time to come.  This is the planet of surprises, changes and unexpected events.  When it's messing with your subconscious there is no telling how this will come out.  More than likely baggage that you've had stowed for many years will gradually make an appearance, forcing you to deal with it.  I know that Aries, particularly the male variety, aren't very happy about emotions or anything that seems soft, fuzzy or intangible with the possible exception of sex.  However, you may find yourself over the next year or so being confronted with all sorts of crap that you really don't like.  Blame the Universe, not me, and do the best you can to learn your lesson and move on as quickly as possible.  The planets have a mind and purpose of their own and where they fall is certainly beyond my control; all I do is give you as much warning as possible regarding what to expect.

So what else is out there for Rams this month?  The Full Moon on February 1st falls in your Natural 5th House.  This is the house that encompasses your children, creativity and love affairs.  This will undoubtedly highlight one or more of these areas for you, particularly if you were born between March 29 - April 3.  On the downside, retrograde Saturn is also in this House, which was addressed in last month's horoscope.  This will be working on something in one of these areas at the subconscious level and go on until around April 21.  About that time, slightly after your birthday, you'll probably know what was bothering you and it's likely that by July or so that you'll have it all figured out and under control.

You Ruling Planet, Mars, is transiting your Natural 10th house of career and community status until February 26.  This will give you extra drive and ambition  in this area (as if you need any more).  However, you need to watch it that you don't become too aggressive and alienate those who could help you advance in this area.  I know you like to have your way, but bear in mind that you're really not in charge as much as you'd like to think you are.  If you turn on the charm and keep your mouth shut when it will do nothing but get you in trouble, you should be able to make some positive strides in this area this month.

Jupiter is in your Natural 9th House which rules higher education, foreign travel and legal matters.  It also affects your philosophy of life.  Since Jupiter expands what it touches and usually also brings along a fair share of luck, you should see some advances to your liking in this area.  The fact that Pluto, god of the Underworld, is there also, will keep you from getting too full of yourself and perhaps arrogant.  Regardless of how intelligent you are, the powers that be are still in charge and have more control on you than you really want to admit.  Be aware that those in positions of power are likely to remind you of that fact, perhaps in a less than charming manner, and that you need to learn to deal with it effectively.  Aries, who prefer to be simple and straight-forward, i.e. challenge any opponents to a dual and get it over with, do not appreciate secrets and power trips, so this will be something that won't necessarily be pleasant but will help you find your place in the world.

All in all, you're likely to see a lot of action in group settings this month.  Charming and gregarious as you usually are, any challenges should be met with your usual energy and straight-forward approach which should yield success.  Other issues are largely at the noise level, though you may have something that gets your attention come along around the time of the New and Full Moons.   But certainly nothing that you can't handle and handle well.
