February 2007 Forecast Key Events: Full Moon 2/01/2007 New Moon 2/17/2007 Mercury Retrograde 2/14/2007 |

The
Full Moon occurs in your Sign on February 1st, which should place you in the
limelight in some way, especially if your birthday falls during the last few days
of July or first few of August. This is something that Leos thoroughly
enjoy, so be prepared to make the most of it. This should be a welcome
break since the somewhat long-term visitor in your Natural 1st
House is stuffy, ol'
Saturn, planet of
restrictions, delays and discipline. These are not exactly things near and
dear to a Leo's big heart. And to make it worse, he's
retrograde. I
went into this last month,
so I'll refer you back there for a refresher, if needed.
Also refer to last month's forecast regarding Pluto in your Natural 5th House. However, you've had a bit of a respite in that area since November when Jupiter moved in as well. Jupiter is a very benefic planet and usually brings good fortune to the area he's visiting. In this case it includes your children, love life, hobbies and other creative outlets. These areas ARE near and dear to a Leos big heart so use this transit to enhance and expand any efforts you may have in work in these areas. If your birthday is around August 3 - 10 this good luck should be especially noticeable. Mars is transiting your Natural 6th House of work, health and pets of the small animal variety until February 26th. This will bring some extra drive and energy to this area, but make sure that you exercise it in a positive way. Mars energy can easily turn to aggression if not properly managed, so watch that Leo temper and try not to get defensive if someone crosses you. You also might want to be a little extra careful to avoid accidents. Further contributing to this is the fact that the Sun, your ruling "planet", is in Aquarius, your opposing sign. Right around the date of your half-birthday you will have your Solar Opposition. Sometimes they're good and bring you some kind of positive attention but others aren't so good. Let's just say that all of the major NASA accidents (that occurred between the last few days of January and the 1st of February) were at NASA's solar opposition. So if I were you, I'd be extra careful this month. There is quite a convention in your Natural 7th House of relationships. The New Moon on the 17th is in that same vicinity. New Moons often herald a new beginning of some sort, so expect something in your relationships to start a new phase. This applies to all one-on-one types of relationships, not just the personal kind, i.e. it includes business partnerships and such as well. The Sun is there highlighting this area of your life until the 19th with Neptune and Mercury likewise attending the party. Neptune, who's a slow mover, has been there quite a while and won't be moving on anytime soon. He's kind of like your Uncle Fred who came to visit for a weekend back in 1975 and never left. Neptune could make you a bit too idealistic or dreamy in this area, so be aware of this and imbue your relationship expectations with some logic if you don't want to be disappointed. Mercury should make communications in this area relatively good, perhaps providing some good opportunities to meet someone. At least until the 14th when all bets are off because the little booger gives us all a pretty crappy Valentine's present by going retrograde. You can just about imagine how communications will go awry, so brace yourself and try to stay calm when those misunderstandings come along as they inevitably will. As if that's not annoying enough, expect computers, cell phones, TVs, cars, communication cables, radios, traffic signals and so forth to be messed up, too. If something craps out on you and you have to replace it immediately, be sure to get the best possible warranty because you'll probably need it. If you can postpone the purchase until after March 8, all the better. If the "something" that craps out happens to be your car, it might even be worth it for you to rent one until then rather than stick yourself with what is likely to be a lemon. I kid you not, so consider yourself warned. Venus will be in your Natural 8th House of sex, death & regeneration, and other people's resources until the 21st. With Venus, Goddess of Love, visiting your 8th House of sex, do the math. Your libido and sex appeal will be in high gear so exploit it for all it's worth. It will also throw some favorable vibes in your direction if you're trying to borrow money. On the other hand, look out for Uranus. OMG, that certainly has multiple meanings in this context, but what I'm trying to say is the planet of changes, upsets, unexpected events and surprises is also in your 8th House. However, with Venus there any surprises are likely to be pleasant ones, but don't do anything really stupid and set yourself up, either. That pretty much does it for February. As your solar opposition month it is likely to have some significant highlights. Enjoy what you can, watch your tongue and temper in your relationships and enjoy that 8th House Venus. ;-D |
