The month begins with a WHOLE bunch of planets in your
sign including the Sun,
Mars,
Venus,
Mercury and
Jupiter. The good
news is that Mars in your midst. Before Pluto's discovery, Mars ruled
Scorpio, so he's quite comfortable there. While visiting, he'll probably
conjoin your Natal Sun sometime during the month, which should give you a nice
burst of energy for a few days. This will occur between November 1 - 11
for Scorpions born between October 29 - November 5; November 12 - 19 for those
born between November 6 - 11; and between November 20 - 30 for those born
November 12 - 18. Those born after that will feel it in December. At
any rate, plan to use it in a constructive way rather than letting it fester
into aggression of some sort or perhaps an obsession, which Scorpios have down
to an artform. Clean your house, yard or even your garage, do your
Christmas shopping, home repairs or something that you'll feel good about and
can look back on with a sense of accomplishment. If you don't direct it
properly you're likely to get into trouble of some sort due to a strong sense of
rebellion or simply by pissing people off every time you open your mouth.
[NOTE:--Those born the first week or so of the month may find this easier said
than done because of Mercury, which will be retrograde most the month, as explained a few paragraphs below.] The Full Moon in your polar sign, Taurus, occurs on the 5th and may give this an added boost. It will also shed a bunch of light on your possessions and relationships (and no, they're not the same thing though Scorpios sometimes think they are) and accentuate that energy boost mentioned earlier. The New Moon on the 20th is rubbing shoulders with Jupiter, which will undoubtedly usher in a new phase or big change of some sort in your life. Take note and make the most of it. Your ruling planet, Pluto, is trining Saturn, which could give you a career boost of some sort, perhaps some increased responsibilities or a promotion. It's also a good time to volunteer to help in some community organization or function. You might also get the urge to upgrade your car or improve your home. If it's the home or car option, be sure to do it after the 18th. And that's where we get into the bad news. The bad news is that Mercury is Retrograde (RX) and conjoined with Jupiter, which is more than likely not a good thing. Mercury Retrograde messes with just about everyone since it affects all sorts of communications and being hooked up with Jupiter will magnify the effects even more. Since this ignominious combo is in your sign, during the first week of the month you'll probably take a hit of some kind in your ability to express yourself, find the motivation to pursue your goals or see much progress in anything. Your friends are likely to seem a bit flakier than usual, also, but keep an open mind regarding whether it's them or you. Scorpios usually are fairly self-confident, anyway, and this particular transit could incline you to act, well ... let's see if there's a gentle way to say this... Nope, there's not. So, to get to the point, you'll probably be arrogant and obnoxious. However, on the positive side, Mercury RX is a good time re-do something that isn't working correctly. Progress can't be made until whatever this happens to be is fixed or rectified. With this energy in your Natural 1st House, this is pointing a big fat finger in your face, so think hard about something you may need to fix or change that is essential if you want to move on. By the second week of November Mercury will quit holding hands with Jupiter, but will then square off with Neptune in your Natural 4th House. Due to its retrograde motion, this will actually happen twice this month, the first around November 5 -11 and the second around November 26 - 30. With Jupiter out of range your demeanor should improve, but this could cause a delusion of some sort relative to your home environment, especially for that first pass. For example, your TV or computer might crater, or at least seem to, but you won't be able to figure out what the problem is, or it may be intermittent and drive you crazy with not knowing if it is broken or not. In other words, it will be even more frustrating than the usual capricious electronic events associated with Mercury RX. You also may find it hard to communicate with family members. Reality will probably be absent with everyone a bit too idealistic in their expectations. Fortunately, this time it's a relatively short retrograde period so by November 18 things should improve, which means the second pass will have less confusion associated with it but reality and expectations that are still too idealistic are still likely to be at odds. Therefore don't make any big decisions at that time since by the first part of December you're likely to see things a little differently. Uranus, which has been retrograde since June, goes direct on November 20. If your love life has been unstable and full of surprises or your children have been acting goofy and perhaps downright annoying, this should improve after that. In addition, your creativity may have been more innovative than usual with some of your ideas downright crazy these past few months. These should settle down a bit, though as long as Uranus is in Pisces (which will be quite a long time) these areas will probably see lots of changes. As a Fixed sign you don't particularly embrace change as it is, so this will definitely give you plenty of opportunities to work on being more flexible. While Uranus continues to transit through Pisces, your Natural 5th House, you may discover some new talent or means for creative expression. Changes are inevitable, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Really. By the end of the month, that planetary entourage will have moved into the yard of your neighbor, Sagittarius', and things will quiet down, giving you a chance to settle into whatever new endeavor presents itself for the coming month, or perhaps year, if that Full Moon hits your Solar Return chart. At any rate, this month will be somewhat intense for you, but intense is something that Scorpios do in spades so enjoy the ride. |
