month as Mars squares your

Nonetheless, he is also making some positive aspects to his sibling planets that
will assist you in working these things through. He'll be
sextile
Saturn through the 19th,
which will actually be very helpful if you need to do some serious work or
rearranging around the house. Saturn recently entered Virgo, the most
organized Sign there is, so whether you have major cleaning, organizing, or
repair work on your to-do list, you can expect some definite help imposing the
needed structure on these activities. You are also likely to take it more
seriously than in the past and if you've been procrastinating anything or
flat-out ignoring it, this will aspect will probably kick you in the butt to
git 'r' dun.
Nonetheless, Mars does not express himself as well in Cancer as other signs so
your natural energy is likely to be a bit dampened, though this might serve to
mellow you out a bit in a positive way. Fire Signs and Water Signs just
have this fundamental difference whether it's planets or people. Fire and
water--do the math. For a few days between October 17 -18, Mars will trine Mercury, who will have gone Retrograde a few days before that. A trine is usually a pretty harmonious aspect, so this is likely to be useful in some way. Mercury RX is good for rethinking things, so if you have a project you'd planned to do one particular way, now is a good time to figure out if that is what you really want to do or not. Chances are moving forward during these few days will be futile anyway, so take a time-out to revisit what you're really trying to accomplish. If there's something you overlooked, or perhaps didn't even know before, your chances of unearthing it during this transit are very favorable. Considering that Mercury is in your Natural 8th House of shared resources, intimate relationships and transformation, this is also a period of time when you should give some deep introspection to these areas of your life as well; making forward progress isn't likely, anyway, so get out of it what you can for efficiency sake. Bracketing that timeframe is a nice sextile between Mars and Venus that will be in effect between October 13 - 22. Venus is currently residing in your Natural 6th House of work, health and pets. While Venus can signify romance, she also can indicate your finances and possessions, so while this aspect could bode well for a male-female relationship, it could also indicate some opportunities for improvement at work that could have a positive bearing on your homelife. Possibly you'll have less stress in the workplace, meet someone new, or even have some other favorable occurrence such as get an unexpected raise. Other possibilities, especially with Uranus in your Natural 12th House, include balancing issues related to your spiritual growth or other dreams and inspiration with your daily routine. Venus is making several other aspects this month as well, bringing a lot of positive energy to this area. The first week of the month she'll be trine Pluto over in your Natural 9th House, which comprises foreign travel, higher education and legal matters. Pluto facilitates transformation, whether you want it or not, but this positive aspect to Venus should provide good results. If there is any desired connection between your work and those 9th House issues, you can expect something to happen during that time. It might not be anything more than discovering something you'd been unable to unearth before or some sort of Aha! moment relative to lessons from the past, but the effects should be lasting and even potentially life-changing. Midmonth, Venus is also sextile Retrograde Mercury, which, as previously stated, is a favorable aspect for rethinking or replanning, and in this case would pertain primarily to work. Around this same time, Venus and Saturn get together in conference for a few days. This is a very positive time to do some serious planning and putting some structure around your work goals and ambitions. Anything you've been thinking about doing that requires some discipline will be accomplished more easily than usual at this time. You're also likely to be looked upon quite favorably by your superiors, which certainly never hurts, either. The last week of the month, Venus will square Jupiter, which should be a rather interesting influence. A square usually indicates a conflict or crisis of some sort, but both Venus and Jupiter are also benefic planets, meaning their influence is usually quite pleasant, so it's hard to say how this will play out. At any rate, it's probably nothing to fear. Possibilities include such things as winning a trip right in the middle of your busiest time of year at work when it could create problems to take off, or perhaps an increase in travel about which you aren't terribly thrilled, frequent flyer miles notwithstanding. While a hassle or two may be involved, the end result, however, is likely to be positive. During most of the month Jupiter will also be squaring Uranus, planet of surprises, upsets and unexpected events. Tacky jokes aside, this is another aspect where it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Remember that Jupiter is sitting there in your Natural 9th House of foreign travel, legal matters and higher education whereas Uranus is in your Natural 12th House of inspiration, spiritual matters and the collective consciousness. This could indicate a a disruption of some sort, perhaps related to your dreams, with the main risk probably having overly inflated expectations, lack of realism, or perhaps too much optimism relative to one of those areas such as travel or legal matters, or possibly even higher education. For example, perhaps you've always thought you wanted to be a brain surgeon, but about the time that you get accepted to medical school you realize you're really rather be one of those stud-muffin guys hosting one of those hunting and fishing shows who travels the world hunting wild game. About the time this aspects fades away, however, Jupiter will sextile Neptune, camped out in your Natural 11th House of friends, hopes and wishes, which could provide a whole new path of inspiration to pursue, so it should all come out in the wash. The New Moon this month on the 11th occurs in Libra, your Natural 7th House of relationships. This could introduce a new phase in this area of your life. Meeting someone new or entering a new phase in an existing relationship are likely. Remember that this house not only applies to romantic relationships, but any that fall in the one on one category, such as close friends or relatives as well as business associates. The Full Moon on the 25th in your Natural 2nd House of possessions and pleasures implies an ending or new phase in this area of your life is on the horizon as well. Speaking of possessions, note that Mercury goes Retrograde on October 12 and while this may be conducive to rethinking or planning existing projects or issues it is not a good time for major purchases, particularly such things that involve communications such as cell phones, TVs or computers or mechanical function such as cars, guns, fishing reels, or major appliances. Avoid these purchases as much as humanly possible, up to and including renting a car until it's over, which will be November 3rd. Not that long to wait versus months of headaches due to malfunctions or breakdowns. This should be a busy month on several fronts, but much of the action is mental. Your Sign Ruler's usual fire is slightly dampened during his trip through soggy Cancer, so your physical energy may be less than usual, but this dampening effect could help you focus on other considerations. Overall it should be a good and probably significant month. |
