Your Sign Ruler, Jupiter, is fairly active this month interacting with his planetary peers.  He'll be squaring  Uranus for most of the month, i.e. until the 24th, which could generate some surprises on the homefront.  This is a rather interesting combination since Jupiter generally brings expansion and good luck while Uranus, planet of surprise events, upsets and change, usually has a less beneficial effect, especially in an aspect that usually means a conflict or crisis of some description.  This could manifest as a problem that ultimately has a happy ending or where you have little trouble rectifying it.  For example, maybe your garage door opening will decide to quit, but you'll walk into Home Depot and find a replacement on sale for 75% off.  Having Uranus in your Natural 4th House of home environment and family isn't exactly a transit that people look forward to, but this should soften any blows, at least any that occur the first three months of October.  As this aspect ends, Venus will enter the picture from the 25th - 28th, which should further help resolve any problems that arise.  Negotiations are likely that may have something to do with an unexpected conflict between your career and home life, but should have a favorable outcome. 

The Full Moon on the 25th occurs in your Natural 6th House of work, health and pets, and could indicate the culmination of some effort in one of those areas.  Bear in mind the difference between career and work, however, as they are not always the same.  Our career is the mark we'd like to leave on the world while our job or work is how we make a living.  Sometimes they're the same, sometimes not.

Toward the last week of the month Jupiter will be shaking hands with Neptune, who's doing the backstroke over there in your Natural 3rd House of intellect, neighbors, and short journeys.  This could generate some major inspiration in that department to which you'd do well to pay close attention.  This will be in effect from October 24 - November 6, so if you want to do some brainstorming about a new project, that would be a good time to do so.  During this same timeframe, however, Mercury will be Retrograde, meaning that you'd do best to focus primarily on reworking existing ideas or plans.  This will be significantly enhanced between the 16th - 18th when Venus jumps in to lend a hand polishing up any old ideas.  Jupiter will also be squaring Venus from October 27 - 30th.  These two planets are usually considered benefic so anything could happen when they're in square, an aspect that is most often less than positive.  Venus is currently transiting your Natural 10th House of career, reputation and community status, which is a good thing that should enhance your image in this venue and perhaps bring you some opportunities.  In cahoots with Jupiter via square, however, I would caution against being overly optimistic on anything that sounds to good to be true, because it probably is.

As you've probably noticed, Venus is a busy little goddess this month and in your 10th House this could very well be beneficial, both for your image as well as any related financial issues.  She moves into that territory on the 9th and a week later should give you a couple of days of significant benefit.  She'll link up with Saturn from the 13th - 17th, which will help you put any required structure, discipline, or boundaries on any projects or issues you may have related to this House.

Mars is in Cancer, your Natural 8th House of sex, death and taxes, which I'm sure are among your favorite things.  Actually the 8th House is about your intimate relationships, shared resources and transformation.  Nonetheless, Mars is likely to stir up some possible trouble in that area, though his effect in Cancer is somewhat subdued.  Until the 19th he'll be conversing with Saturn, which could create some opportunities.  This somewhat implies that your spouse could have a beneficial effect of some sort on your career, especially considering that he'll be holding hands with Venus from the 13th to 22nd.  Between the 17th and 18th he'll be in trine with RX Mercury in your Natural 12th House of spirituality and inspiration, which is an interesting aspect, to say the least.  This may be a good opportunity to discuss some old issues that have spiritual implications with those with whom you have an intimate relationship.  It might also bode well for some good sex; you be the judge. 

The New Moon on the 11th occurs in your Natural 11th House of groups, organizations, friends, and hopes & wishes.  This could provide some new opportunities in this part of your life, especially if your birthday falls between December 8 - 12th.

This month looks like a busy one careerwise and in your closest relationships with a few distractions likely on the homefront as well.  These should be softened by some fortuitous aspects from Jupiter and Venus, so you should come through any challenges relatively unscathed.
