The New Moon on the 11th occurs in your Natural 12th House of inspiration and spirituality.  This could introduce a new revelation of some sort or require an unexpected adjustment relative to your children, love life or creative expression.  This is due to the fact that the New Moon, which usually heralds a new beginning, will connect with Uranus, planet of change, upsets, and surprise events, who is currently camped out in your Natural 5th House, which comprises those areas.  From October 25 - 28, more changes are likely as Venus opposes Uranus.  This may call for negotiations, perhaps related to your circle of friends or coworkers, who may be involved in some way.

Uranus will also be squaring  Jupiter for most of the month, i.e. from October 1 - 24, which could bring some big surprises associated with your possessions, including finances.  If you're an investor you've probably had enough surprises lately, but with this aspect you might be seeing some more.  Nonetheless, after the 24th when Jupiter and Neptune are in sextile to one another this could simply dissolve into the cosmos as if it never existed or create another opportunity in some way, perhaps related to your home.  Be aware that Neptune can be the master of delusion, however, so make sure that anything that comes up the last week of the month is real before acting, especially if it involves getting out your checkbook. 

Venus is very active this month, particularly after she enters Virgo on the 9th.  Most of the action occurs mid-month, and since Venus frequently affects our love life, other one on one relationships, and possessions, more than likely you'll see some action in this area.  When she encounters Saturn and holds hands from the 13th to the 17th, you could encounter a group project of some sort that requires structure and discipline to complete.  It will not necessarily be a bad thing, but perhaps some of your friends will require help of some sort.  Saturn entered Virgo, your Natural 11th House of friends, organizations, and hopes & wishes last month and will be there for a couple of years, more than likely imposing some boundaries upon this part of your life.  If you've had a tendency in the past to either fritter away too much time with your friends or suffer from a lack of direction relative to pursuing your hopes and wishes in a structured way, this should help you get a firm grip on this area of your life over the next two years or so.  This brief encounter with Venus should bring a pleasantry of some description to bear on one of these areas.  Perhaps you'll even meet someone new during any related activities.

Venus will sextile Mercury for a few days mid-month as well.  Mercury will be in your Sign, which would ordinarily facilitate communications, but since he'll be retrograde at the time, this is more likely to motivate some introspection, though if properly done an opportunity should result.  Remember that Venus is shedding her charm upon your group activities this month, so perhaps you'll hatch a useful idea during that time that will benefit you later.  If nothing else, it will give you an additional boost toward considering exactly what you're getting out of your activities in this venue and whether or not they're a good use of your time or not.  Venus also will be squaring Jupiter during the last several days of the month.  Both of these planets are generally benefic, so even with a usually-negative aspect like a square it may not be a problem, though it could involve giving up something that you'd really rather keep or making a donation of some type to a good cause.

Busy Mercury starts the month out in your Sign, which should facilitate communications of all kinds.  If you have something you need to convey, however, make sure you get it done before the 12th when he goes Retrograde (RX).  From that point on you'll do better to ponder those things that you'd like to accomplish and rework any plans as this is not a time when you're likely to be able to move forward.  If there's anything that needs to be redone, however, this is an excellent time to do so.  While he's in reverse he'll slip back into Libra on the 25th, which would be a good time to reevaluate any of those issues that came about during the New Moon, as noted above.

The Full Moon on the 25th occurs in your Natural 7th House of one on one relationships.  This could mark the culmination of your interactions with someone, or possibly the end of a joint project, since business associates are also included.  If your birthday is in the last week of October, this may have a little more punch for you and may not be entirely to your liking. 

Mars is in your Natural 9th House of long distance travel, legal matters and higher education, you may see some action in one of these areas over the next several months.  If you have anything you need to take care of, now would be a good time to do so while that extra energy exists in fellow Water Sign, Cancer, where the aspect is positive.  Do it this month, however, because in the middle of next month Mars goes retrograde, which will internalize that energy until February.  Mars is particularly important to Scorpios because he used to be your Sign Ruler, before Pluto was discovered.  While we speaking of Mars, note that he will also be linking up with Saturn through October 19th, which could provide a boost of energy for those group activities or maybe even pursuit of your hopes and wishes.  His encounter with RX Mercury will only last for a couple of days between the 17th and 18th, but it might provide some useful thoughts relative to whatever you have going on in this area, so take note of any insights you may have during that time.  Remember that Mercury RX is an excellent time for reworking or redoing anything, whereas moving forward usually doesn't have much success.  Nonetheless, if you're involved in planning a trip abroad, going back to school, or a legal matter, take some time to rethink what you've done so far during that time.

This looks like a busy and possibly significant month for you as the Sun converges on your home territory on the 24th.  Numerous areas of your life should see some action that is likely to be preparatory to your upcoming Solar Return period and the year ahead.
