Those of you born around December 15-19th have probably just about had it with Pluto.  If you've kept up with the news at all, lately, you're aware that he has recently been demoted from a planet to a "Dwarf Planet."  As you can imagine, I'm sure that the God of the Underworld was less than enchanted by that move by numerous astronomers, but it makes precious little difference in the greater scheme of things astrologically.  His influence will be the same, regardless of whether us pitiful Earthlings call him a planet or not.  Archers generally will feel the effects of this transit.  You may find yourself obsessing on situations rather than using your usual problem-solving abilities to resolve them.  Pluto will station and leave retrograde on the 5th, which will help alleviate the obsessions some.  At least he'll be moving forward for a change, and be on his way toward those with later birthdays.  On the positive side, Venus is throwing a bit of relief in the mix, perhaps giving you a certain mystique or charm beyond your usual, or bringing an interesting person from your past back into your life.

You also could be experiencing problems with Plutonian elements such as electronics.  How's your cell phone working lately?  What about your computer?  How are those rechargeable batteries working these day?  Or aren't they?  Are you less satisfied than usual with simple explanations?  Do you just know that there's more to it than meets the eye and won't rest 'til you find out what?  Have you found yourself unwittingly involved in some kind of intrigue?  Some shady deal?  What about your home, particularly things that are generally hidden away, like your foundation, basement, attic or underground systems like plumbing?  Do you have moles in your lawn or weird bugs in your garden?  If you at least nodded agreement to one of those, then you can blame Pluto, diminutive size or otherwise.  If you've ever had a splinter or sand in your shoe you know that something doesn't have to be large to be irritable.

Along with these particular challenges, as if they're not bad enough, your thought processes have probably not been as sharp as usual, either.  Neptune is retrograde in your Natural 3rd House of intellect, which will fog your thoughts and make you less decisive than usual.  Answers you come up with will probably have a certain unsubstantiated quality about them that sounds good until you try to explain them with a modicum of logic, at which point you'll realize that its no more than smoke and mirrors.  Saturn could be complicating this even further.  Delays or authority figures could be causing you some trouble, particularly if you have any legal action going, are trying to plan some long-distance travel or perhaps simply are trying to go back to school.  Any bureaucratic grief is always difficult to tolerate, but when your mental faculties are compromised your tolerance level will be even lower, as well as your ability to solve them.

The Sun, Mercury and Mars are in your Natural 10th House of reputation and community standing for most of the month.  You may not be able to express yourself clearly and you may find the frustration levels rising.  This should improve toward the end of the month as this trio slides into Libra, at which time your friends or other associates may manage to bail you out.  The Full Moon on the 7th may trigger a change in this area with perhaps an additional boost from the New Moon on the 22nd.

Your ruling planet, Jupiter, is doing what he can for you over there in your Natural 12th House.  Slogging through a swamp eventually has its benefits, assuming you're not consumed by alligators along the way.  You're philosophical at heart, and all of these unpleasantries will ultimately make you a lot wiser.  I know you hate to admit it, but Sag's can be just a wee bit arrogant sometimes, and if there is anything that difficulties do for us it's build a bit of character and humility.  Now is a good time to immerse yourself in some activity you find refreshing.  Physical activity or exercise is always beneficial, as well as delving into the philosophical issues related to your particular challenges.  Self-help, yoga, and increasing your spirituality in some way will also help you get through the various speed bumps.  So head for your favorite bookstore and indulge in something that will feed your soul.
