This Earth-Fire sign combo can be an interesting match. Both signs like quality but Leo is likely to want more of it, which explains why the Bull usually also has a better bank balance. Taurus has no problem driving that old 1995 Grand Prix and enjoying that $90,000 bank balance. Leo, on the other hand, thinks that’s a pitiful waste of good money, especially when they’re embarrassed driving that old POS and really would like to have something new. Like a Porsche or Lexus. So obviously there is potential for disagreements over spending, which could be one of the main areas where we’ll see some dirt thrown on the fire.

Nonetheless, both are Fixed signs and thus in Trine to one another which usually bodes well. Neither likes change, pretty much like the Rock of Gibralter. This implies that if they’re already compatible in various areas they’re likely to stay that way and vice versa, if they’re not, then forget it because neither is likely to change. One caveat, however, is if Taurus has Progressed into Gemini, there will be some visible changes in personality. Those core values, however, including the affinity for land and a nice bank balance, will remain the same. Likewise, if Leo has progressed into Virgo, another Earth sign, some of that practicality will come to bear on their spending habits and lend more similarities, also.

Taurus tends to be quite possessive, which may either make the Lion feel secure and safe in the relationship or stifled and irritated. That is one of those things that should be obvious early in the relationship and something to think about. Remember what I said about either of these two changing. On a positive note, however, if these two fall in love and make a commitment to one another, they’re also likely to stay there.
