This month
Mars should give you a lot
of energy in the work place as he transits your Natural 6th
House of work, health and pets.
Toward the end of the month you may come up with some innovative ideas as well,
though they may require an adjustment or two on your part to make them the most
effective. This will be reinforced by the Full Moon in Pisces on the 28th,
which could herald the culmination of an idea of some sort you started working on
several months ago. Take advantage of this cosmic boost and direct it in
the most positive way possible. If you've been wanting to suggest a change
or tackle a new assignment or project, this is a good time to jump in with
plenty of oomph and get it started. Venus is retrograde (RX) in Leo, your Natural 8th House, which governs sex, death and regeneration and other people's money. Venus RX usually directs our thoughts to our relationships so with this particular house placement it's likely to involve those of an intimate nature. The Sun is in that same house until the 24th, shedding additional attention to that area of your life. With Mercury there from August 5 - 20, you'll have a little extra help with talking things through, or at least expressing any thoughts you may have on the matter at hand. The New Moon on the 12th is in Leo as well, which of course figures since a New Moon will always occur in the same Sign as the Sun. New Moons, as you probably know if you read these on a regular basis, generally herald a new beginning of some description. Whatever this might be, it could cause some restlessness or an adjustment on your part with which you're not entirely comfortable. Saturn, your ruling planet, will be leaving Leo in September, which we'll talk about next month. I'm sure you're aware that Saturn isn't exactly the Zodiacal party boy and for the past two years his presence in Leo could have placed a damper on one or more of these areas of your life for quite a while. Thus, his departure is probably something to celebrate, though it doesn't necessarily mean he'll bring flowers and sunshine to his next location, either. Nonetheless, while he's been transiting your 8th House, a lot of possibly soul-trying issues have arisen, whether they were related to your intimate relationships, debt load, personal transformation of some kind, or possibly all of the above. Saturn and Neptune have been faced off with one another for quite a while now, which has thrown an interesting tug-o-war in your direction, particularly since Saturn is your sign ruler. Neptune throws a bit of idealism in the mix, perhaps increasing your material expectations. Maybe you've expected life to yield more than it has, or you've fallen prey more easily than usual to sales pitches. Saturn, however, will be tempering all that with your usual practicality, though you may not be able to accept it as readily as you'd expect. This opposition will fade out this month, hopefully allowing you to feel less torn between the two contrary concepts. The Sun goes into Virgo, your Natural 9th House of higher education, foreign travel and legal matters, on August 24th. This will bring some attention to these areas of your life. If you're trying to accomplish something in one of these venues, try to get it done before the 10th when Venus backs into Leo. Even though she's RX, her presence is generally positive, though in this case she might simply cause some introspection relative to how activities in this area may affect your relationships. Mercury goes into Virgo on the 20th, which will assist with any attempts at communication. Generally these are favorably placed, so you'll probably be happy with the ultimate results. Jupiter comes out of RX on the 7th. His placement in your Natural 12th House which covers inspiration, spirituality and the collective consciousness, however, isn't as fortuitous as it could be in other locations. While RX he motivates thoughts about ethics and your belief system, but once he goes direct you can expect some expansion in this area. Perhaps you've been pondering and assessing your personal beliefs and will now find yourself exploring them more on the spiritual level. Bad boy Pluto is still hanging out in Sagittarius, which will be generating even more deep thought in this area. If there's anything relative to your past that needs to be brought into the open so it can be properly dealt with, Pluto will see to it that it happens. This is likely to be a fairly quiet month, at least on the surface, though various considerations at a deeper level will be going on in your head relative to your relationships. Work is likely to see lots of action, but this should give you some momentum to finish off some projects that may have been languishing for too long. Take some time to feed your spirit this month and think about things at a nonmaterial level. In other words, don't get so tied up in the practicalities of life that you miss its beauty. |
