This month there is likely to be a
fair amount of action in Leo, your Natural 6th
House, which comprises your
work, health and pets. First of all, the
Sun is currently in Leo and
will be until the 24th, when he moves into Virgo. The Sun tends to
highlight a particular area of your life and bring attention to it. The
New Moon on the 12th is
also in Leo, which of course figures, since the New Moon will always be in the
same place as the Sun. New Moons tend to herald a new beginning or phase.
Thus, this could indicate a new job, or possibly just a new assignment. It
could also relate to your health, or even to acquiring a new pet. It's a
good time to start a diet, fitness program, or change your eating habits to be
more healthy. Mercury
will be there from August 5 - 20, which will enhance communications, learning,
data collection and understanding. This could come in handy in any venue,
but particularly if you're starting a new job. Rest assured that you'll be
able to catch on quickly and communicate well in your new surroundings. Also hanging out in Leo are Saturn and, after the 10th, Venus, who will back into that vicinity via retrograde (RX) motion. Saturn is hard-working and ambitious, so if you've started a new job or assignment, he could well be what got you there. And just in the knick of time, since he will move into Virgo on September 8th. Venus RX will generally cause some introspection relative to your relationships and/or finances. In this particular house, it could easily be both. If you've started a new job, you might be developing new relationships. This is a good time to think about old ones, especially at work, along with what worked and what didn't. Occasionally we become too close to someone at work and it causes problems later. If this is a new start, it's a good time to learn from past mistakes and move on, perhaps in a new direction, with that wisdom in mind. Financially, if your income will change, you'll want to think about utilizing that in the most sensible manner. It's always fun to think of having more money and all the cool things we can spend it on, but often the difference is not as much as we expect thanks to the tax man, and you do better to save it, perhaps even in a 401K. Think about your long term goals, like where you'd like to be ten years from now, and then behave accordingly. As the month progresses, both the Sun and Mercury on the 24th and 20th respectively, will move into your Natural 7th House, which governs your one on one relationships. This will bring some emphasis to that area that will continue into September. Your ruling planet, Neptune, is still in Aquarius, your Natural 12th House. This will continue to motivate you to seek experiences that take you to the edge, so to speak, and provide you with that glimpse of another existence that you thrive upon. Pisces rules the Universal 12th House of spiritual matters, transcendence, and the collective consciousness. Aquarius lives a bit on the edge as it is, so you are likely to seek these experiences in unconventional ways. In other words, yoga and meditation may not get you where you want to go. Be a bit cautious, however, because Neptune is also the master of delusion and can lead you astray quite easily in the pursuit of the ultimate "high." The Full Moon occurs in your sign on the 28th. New Moons are usually beginning; Full Moons are usually endings. Since this is also a lunar eclipse, it will have a little extra punch. Happening in your Natural 1st House, which governs your basic personality, this could signify a rite of passage of some sort or entering a new stage of your life. Most likely you have changed in some way, more specifically since your last birthday, and will see life differently from this point out. This is likely to be felt especially by those born between February 21-25, though it will be felt to some degree by all Pisces. The first week of the month, thanks to Mars in your Natural 3rd House, you're likely to be exceptionally sharp mentally. Learning, especially things of a physical or rote nature, will come easily and your thinking will be quick and assertive, possibly even a bit aggressive. Creating some opportunities are possible during this time, or perhaps already occurred in July. From August 8th on, this energy will transfer into your Natural 4th House which covers your home environment. Be sure you use this in a constructive manner or it could get misdirected and cause disagreements or some other form of contention. Jupiter comes out of retrograde on August 7. He's been hanging out in Sagittarius, your Natural 10th House of career, reputation and community status. While he was RX, this energy was turned inward, probably directing your thoughts toward your belief system and how it relates to your career and what you do for a living. Now that he is returning to direct motion, you may see some expansion or even luck in this arena. Where you want to go with your career is likely to be more clear and it's likely that some new vistas could open up, though they may not all be sunshine and roses. Nothing is likely to be handed to you and some sort of personal sacrifice may be required to get there. Pluto is hanging out in this same neighborhood, which has probably been unearthing all sorts of things from your past relevant to this part of your life. Possibly some of your past decisions hindered your professional progress in one way or another. Another possibility is that you're dealing with a lot of hidden or covert issues, power struggles or secrets in your career. These are likely to have a deep and lasting effect on who and what you are and shape the person you're becoming. It's possible that you're even being drawn toward this type of livelihood. In summary, it looks like it will be a lively month for your job and career. Your need for touching something beyond the norm is still rumbling beneath the surface, which you need to keep an eye on so you don't get carried away. Personal change is likely along with a few challenges on the homefront. Keep your eyes open for sign posts along the way that give you that warm feeling that you're on the right path as you watch your job and career possibly take off in a different direction. |
