During the first three days of December the Sun and Saturn will be squared off, which may represent a delay or perhaps an additional responsibility of some sort around the house.  If you've been neglecting anything that should be done, chances are you'll be reminded of this particular oversight during this time.  Later this month, on the 19th, Saturn will go retrograde until early May.  During this time, he'll be working on you at the subconscious level, most likely relative to your responsibilities and obligations.  When he goes direct again in the spring, the pieces will all come together and you'll have a good idea what you need to do to set things in order.  Maybe you need to be more disciplined or organized.  Whatever it might be, Saturn will help you get it together.

   From the 4th until the 10th, the Sun and Uranus will be squared off, which could bring a surprise, unexpected event or disruption in one of your relationships.  If your birthday fall within a few days one way or the other of September 7, this is likely to be more noticeable.

Your Sign Ruler, Mercury, will be doing the tango with Mars from December 6 - 9.  Mars is currently retrograde (RX) in Cancer, your Natural 11th House of friends, groups, organizations, hopes & wishes.  Mars RX frequently stirs up suppressed anger, which in this case, could center around an event of some sort that involved your interaction with a group of people or possibly an organization.  With Mercury in your 4th House of home environment, there could be a bit of an adjustment required between your home life and involvement with any groups.  Perhaps you've been overdoing it with volunteer activities and have been neglecting something that you should have been taking care of on the homefront.  Mercury is all about communication, so you can expect some information to come your way in one form or another.  With the Full Moon in Cancer on the 23rd, it's possible that something you've been involved with will culminate and perhaps help this particular situation.

The New Moon on the 9th is likely to herald a new phase of some sort in your home environment as well.  There's a tremendous amount of astrological activity in that neighborhood this month that I'm sure will be hard to miss. 

Between the 9th and 15th, the Sun and Neptune will be in a nice, friendly sextile.  Neptune is camped out in your 6th House of work, health and pets.  If there some work or project that needs to be done around the house, this could give you some definitely inspiration.  Bear in mind, however, that Neptune rules not only inspiration and dreams, but delusion as well, so make sure that you're realistic about anything you decide to do.  Especially keep an eye on the budget side of things, as you could forget the more practical side of whatever it is you want to accomplish.  This could pertain to the amount of money it will take as well as the time required.  Whatever you do, don't start a big renovation project right before the holidays that undoubtedly will not be finished by then as it's likely to cause some definite tension.

Male - female interactions should go well, especially between December 10 - 14, as Venus and Mars get together in a nice, harmonious trine.  This will be quite refreshing compared to being squared off as things were in November, especially around Thanksgiving.  This also relates back to that group activity issue, for which your thoughts should be fairly kind.  This would bode well for any holiday parties or activities you may participate in during that time.

All of December and the first half of January, Jupiter and Pluto will be conjoined in Sagittarius.  This is but another of the astrological activities going on in your 4th house.  Jupiter is all about expansion and in his home sign it will also relate to your core beliefs.  In cahoots with Pluto, the zodiacal rotorooter, you will most likely be doing some serious forensic activities on what your beliefs are, especially as they apply to your home life.  If there is anything there that is amiss or not in synch with your deepest beliefs, you'll notice them at this time.  If there is any old dirt that needs to be cleaned up or any applicable changes to your attitude required, they will most likely be brought to your attention during this time. 

This will be even more noticeable between December 19 - 29 when the Sun joins the pair to create a stellium that will be hard to ignore.  This is a difficult place to make any changes since it usually involves other people who are close to you.  There may be certain things about them that you don't like, yet they're not likely to change anytime soon.  If these strike at your core beliefs, it's going to be quite uncomfortable and equally difficult to resolve since the people involved are usually not expendable.  If this aspect were to occur in your house of friends, you could always get new ones, but when it's in your home, it's not that simple.  If everything is in harmony in your home, then this will probably reinforce your current beliefs and won't be uncomfortable.  However, if there is anything amiss, this is likely to flush it out.  Since the most powerful time for this will include Christmas, there's no telling what you might notice or pick up on at that time that up until now you'd been oblivious to.  Pluto may stir things up, but he's also about healing and getting rid of old baggage that could be holding you back.  Look at it as similar to road construction, that can be a tremendous mess and inconvenience at the time, yet results in a much better route when complete.

The Sun will be opposite Mars from December 22 - 27.  This should actually affect Virgos in a positive way due to its placement.  By then the Sun will have slipped into Capricorn, your 5th House of children, lovers, and creative expression.  It may simply represent a choice you have to make between going to your company Christmas party or going to your child's Christmas play.  Perhaps your boss will be ticked off if you don't go to the company party, but you know where you really belong so follow your heart.  Several years from now your child may still remember your absence while your boss will have long forgotten.

Right around New Years the Sun will trine RX Saturn.  This could bring some new responsibilities your way relative to your children or lovers, though these may well be of a positive nature.  If you're working on a creative project of some sort, this could help you find the needed discipline to finish it up, or at least figure out a plan to do so. 

Between December 29 - January 3 Venus and Mars will be at it again in a situation that may require an adjustment or justification of some type.  This also brings back that group/friends versus home issue noted earlier.  Right around New Years, it could indicate something like having to celebrate the new year at home for lack of a babysitter or some other change of plan.  More than likely it won't be horribly serious, so it's probably nothing to worry about.

There's a lot of activity centered around your home this month, some of which could be quite serious.  This is a good opportunity to get your ducks in a row and place the proper priorities on the people you're closest to.  Pay attention to what the planets are trying to tell you and take whatever action is appropriate to go in the right direction.
