Two fairly major astrological events will occur this month
for Goats. On December 6th your
ruling planet,
Saturn, goes
retrograde, and on
December 22 the Sun will cross over to your Sign. Saturn is in Leo, your
Natural 8th House, which affects
intimacy, emotional healing, transformations and other people's money. As
you know all too well, Saturn isn't exactly the friendliest planet in the solar
system. He's a stern task master who reminds you of your responsibilities,
represents authority figures and often institutes delays. Thus, being
retrograde, which is going to last for several months (until April 20, to be
exact) will undoubtedly put a few things on hold.
This is not always a bad thing, and definitely isn't in the long run. Often there are things that need to be done, either mentally or physically, and this is when to do so. In many cases these changes will be deep within your subconscious and all you'll recognize is a general restlessness or frustration that something isn't quite right. This time is analogous to a gestational period of personal growth and many of the effects will be invisible until it's over, when your psyche "gives birth" to a new attitude or understanding that's been developing over several months' time. Depending on which House Leo represents on your Natal Chart, these effects will be occurring in another area of your life as well. So if it feels as if something is festering or developing beneath the surface that you can't quite identify, this is undoubtedly the cause and you may not quite understand it for several months but the result will bring you to a new level of understanding that will benefit you in the future. The Full Moon on December 4th is in Gemini, your Natural 6th House of work, health and pets. You may have to defend or justify your position on some issue in one of these areas at that time. You may even be surprised to find out how you really feel about something, which you hadn't actually thought about before. As all those planets that were hanging out in Scorpio gradually enter Sagittarius, you will notice a change in that energy as well. Scorpio is very intense and passionate and represents your Natural 11th House of groups, friends, hopes and wishes. Emphasis in these areas will thus gradually transition into Sagittarius, which is your Natural 12th House of the subconscious. This will provide some definite stimulation in this area, which will yield a substantial amount of enlightenment. The New Moon on the 20th will give it some additional punch as well. If there's one thing that Cappies usually are NOT, it's shallow, and all this activity is going to give you even more depth and strength of character. People generally admire you anyway, but you will find others drawn to you even more in the next month or so for reasons you won't be able to identify. Not to worry, changes within us are often more visible to others than ourselves and any you stumble upon will be pleasant surprises. Some revelations may have to do with issues and events from your past that may have been less than pleasant, but the meaning and applicability to your life will become more clear and enable you to move on with more confidence than you had before. Toward the end of the month the Sun and Mercury will enter your Sign, with Venus doing so on the 11th. You'll like the Venus ingress, especially as we enter the holiday season as well as your own special holiday, i.e. your birthday. Venus in your Natural 1st House will actually make you look more attractive and feel better about yourself. You'll be more conscious of your appearance and actually like what you see in the mirror more than usual. It will take a few of those sharp edges off some of your natural behaviors and give you an infusion of charm. The Sun will bring more attention your way and illuminate your inborn strengths. Mercury will make it easier to communicate your thoughts and needs to those around you and assure their understanding. This month will present many beginnings for you, particularly if your birthday is in December. There is a lot going on, particularly on the subconscious level, and the fruits of these changes will not become apparent for several months. Cappies are already fairly serious and you are likely to be even more retrospective this month than usual, but rest assured that everything is progressing for you as the Universe intends and you'll like what you find on the other side. |
