There is a lot of astrological activity in Aquarius, your
Natural 3rd House, which governs
your mental processes. Theoretically, this should make for a great time
for Archers who enjoy nothing more than a good session of intellectual sparring.
The Sun will highlight this
area with some help from
Mercury, who definitely enhances communications and data gathering, at least
until the 14th when he goes
Retrograde (RX).
After that, well, so much for mental sparring.
Besides, Neptune is also trudging along in this House. He is great for inspiration, daydreams and transcending, but really not much help in the mental acuity department. So, like I said earlier, theoretically it should be a good month, and maybe it will be, but probably not if you need to do a lot of critical thinking. If you need to think outside the box, then you'll not only be okay but in your element. You're as likely now as ever to come up with some real wild-ass ideas. But then, as philosophical as Sagittarius tends to be, maybe that other-worldly touch of Neptune will be just what you need to come up with something truly profound. The bottom line is you may come up with some really interesting ideas, but they may not be in touch with reality, so bear that in mind when you present them to your boss. About Mercury RX. That is not exactly stellar news. Actually, it's more like planetary news, but certainly not good and a pretty nasty Valentine, if you ask me. As you probably recall, this is when all things electronic and mechanical go on the fritz. Computers, cell phones, TVs, radios, stereos, traffic signals, your cable or internet service, appliances, cars, you name it, anything that conveys information of any kind, some or all of them will mess up. If something completely dies, don't go right out and replace it unless you absolutely have to. You'll be much better off if you wait until after March 8. If you can't, then make sure you get a good, all encompassing, air-tight warranty because the chances are highly probably that you'll need it. If the dead item happens to be your car, I suggest renting one until after March 8. Just be grateful that you're ruled by Jupiter and not Mercury because Geminis and Virgos feel these RX periods more than you can imagine. All you have to worry about is all the inconveniences, not your brain feeling disconnected. And believe it or not, Mercury RX is a good time to do something besides stay in bed with the covers pulled over your head. It's a good time to rewrite, revise or redo things. You might want to do that to your tax return if you don't already have it in the mail by February 14. It that's the case, I'd go over it with a fine tooth comb and mail it after March 8. Mars is in your 2nd House of possessions, pleasures and comforts. Mars is actually quite happy in Capricorn, where he brings lots of energy to its somewhat sluggish practicality and conservatism. You probably tend to be quite practical with your purchases and take care of them well. Remember that your number one possession is your body, so this should give you some physical energy as well. Just be careful to direct it in a positive way, don't over-extend yourself and don't do anything foolish or careless. Mars can sometimes predispose us to accidents, especially if his energy is expressed as anger, so be aware and act accordingly. Your 4th House, which covers your home environment, should be pleasant this month since it's having a nice visit from Venus until the 21st. This should encourage some pleasant times at home with a general feeling of harmony. Uranus, planet of change, surprises and unexpected events is also in this house, but with Venus there any surprises should be pleasant or turn out to be in the long run. On the 21st Venus moves into your 5th House which rules your children, lovelife, creativity and hobbies. This should have a pleasant effect as well, so things on the homefront should go quite well this month. The Full Moon on February 1 falls in Leo, your Natural 9th House of higher education, long-distance travel and legal matters. The Universal 9th House is ruled by none other than Sagittarius so these are things that are near and dear to your heart. This could signal the culmination of some activity in this area or perhaps finally put some plans in place to pursue something like going back to school or maybe a trip abroad. If you've been involved in litigation of some sort, this could bring it to a close. Retrograde Saturn is also in your Natural 9th House. It seems like every House has something positive and something not so positive in it this month. I went into Saturn RX last month, so please refer back there for a refresher since this aspect will be in effect until toward the end of April and not be entirely resolved until July. Your ruling planet, Jupiter, is still in your sign, which is where he really likes to be. He's been there since Thanksgiving weekend, which was certainly something to be grateful for, even if you didn't realize it at the time. This should have improved your outlook considerably and brought back some of that sparkle to your eye and spring to your step. It should be quite refreshing, considering the other visitor in your neighborhood is what drives property values down. Yes, Pluto is still there, but should be gone in a year or so. I know that sounds like a long time, but considering that he usually spends about 20 years in a sign, you need to keep things in perspective. If your birthday is around December 19-22, however, that is easier said that done. Pluto rules delightful things like septic tanks and when you've had a close encounter with this bad actor you feel as if you've personally spent several days in one. The good news is that he really does a good job of exhuming old baggage and crap that you need to get rid of, sort of like, well, those tank trucks that clean out septic systems. We used to call them honey wagons when I lived in the country, but for the life of me I can't quite go there with this analogy. In all seriousness, however, once all that stuff is brought to the surface you'll be free to fill it up again with new crap, but at least you'll be rid of the old. Now doesn't that make you feel a lot better? All in all this month will be a mixed bag for you. There will be good days and bad days and everything in between. Do your best to be as optimistic as possible and trust the Universe to guide you where you need to go, even if it means trudging through a few swamps. |
