The
Sun is in Taurus, your
Natural 12th House, until the
21st. This will stimulate some spiritual action and considerations in that
area, particularly with
Mercury, your
ruling planet, there as well until the 11th. Expect an experience or
two in this area that will stimulate some serious thought. The
New Moon occurs there as
well on the 16th, which is likely to initiate a new beginning of some sort.
As an Air Sign, Gemini's tend to
be logic-based in their thinking, but that doesn't mean that they can't be in
tune with a higher power or find comfort and satisfaction through a rich
spiritual life. When the Sun moves into your Sign on the 21st it will
highlight your personal life as you begin a new solar cycle. Venus is in your Sign the first week of May, which will bring out your natural charm. If you need to present an idea or liven up your social life, this is a good time to do so. You'll be well-received and looked upon favorably, which definitely can't hurt. There may have been various upsets or changes in your career or reputation for sometime now, and a boost like this certainly makes it a favorable time to network, interview or pursue some new opportunities. If you can't set anything up before the 8th, then shoot for between the 11th and 29th when Mercury will assist you with your communication skills, even though they probably need little help. The only thing you need to watch out for is the fact that everyone's mind does not move or process information at the same rate that you do. So slow down a bit and make sure that they follow your ideas in adequate detail. Actually, your thoughts may have not been up to their usual speed for the past few months while Saturn was retrograde in your Natural 3rd House, which covers your thoughts, ideas and intellect as well as your local environment. Fortunately, on April 22 this ended, which should allow some of the subconscious ruminations generated during that period to come to the surface for your consideration. Saturn tends to be a bit of a drag wherever he goes, reminding us of boundaries, restrictions and obstacles in general. If one of your ideas has been hitting one roadblock after another for a while, this should improve, so if you've put something aside as futile, now would be a good time to dust it off and try again. If the idea pertains to work in some way, the Full Moon on May 2nd in Scorpio may highlight that area or indicate a culmination of some sort. When Venus moves into Cancer on the 8th, she will bring good fortune to your 2nd House of possessions, pleasures and comforts. This brings an astrological advantage if you need to make a purchase or want to indulge yourself in some manner. Be aware, however, that overindulgence is a possibility, so be sure to kick up your exercise routine if you don't want to pack on a few extra pounds during that time. It's highly likely that you've been seeing some significant activity in your relationships for sometime now, even if only from a philosophical perspective. With Jupiter and Pluto retrograde in your Natural 7th House you'll be thinking a lot about what you expect from a partner, both business and personal, and perhaps make some significant changes over what you considered the most important in the past. For example, you may be discovering that superficial qualities such as looks and intelligence are not everything and that they are not necessarily the most important criteria for strength of character. The second Full Moon this month, which in case you didn't already know is known as a Blue Moon, occurs on the 31st and will shed some further light on this area. When Neptune goes retrograde in your Natural 9th House on the 25th he could stir up some innovative inspiration in this domain, which includes long distance travel, legal matters, higher education, ceremonies, etc. Most Gemini's love learning so this could create some rumblings of some sort in this venue. If you have any legal matters in the hopper, this could also give you some new insights into possible approaches or resolution. There should be a lot of energy in your group activities this month or possibly you'll be particularly motivated to pursue some of your hopes and wishes. Opportunities could arise as well, so put what you need to into it to make it happen. This should be a well-rounded month of activity for you as you move into your solar return period.
