November begins with a nice
sextile between
Jupiter in Sagittarius,
your Natural 6th House of work,
health and pets, and Neptune
in Aquarius, your Natural 8th House of intimate relationships, transformations,
and shared resources. This aspect will be in force until approximately the
17th, so you have a little more than half the month to make it work for you.
If you have something you want to renovate in a significant way regarding your
work or health, now is the time to go for it. It's a favorable time to
take a serious look at how well your job fits your long-term dreams, visualize
how you want to look and adjust your eating and exercise habits accordingly, or
sign up for a 401K retirement account at work so you can take advantage of any
employer matching, if offered. Jupiter is usually lucky and expands what
he touches, so see what opportunities you can find as he and Neptune, planet of
dreams and inspiration, give each other the eye. Now is a very beneficial
time to align your daily reality with your dreams and make any changes to get
there, including significant one. Remember the old saying, "If you keep
on doing what you've always done, you'll keep on getting what you've always
got." Decide where you want to go and act accordingly. The Full
Moon in Gemini, your
Natural 12th House of dreams and inspiration, on the 24th could also indicate
the culmination of something that's been going on in your spiritual life.
You're probably already quite aware of the Moon's strong influence on you since
it's your Sign Ruler.
In case you weren't aware, that's where all those Cancer moods come from.
(Moon - mood; do the math on the etymology of that one.) You'll even have some additional help to move it forward, as Mars transits your Natural 1st House. Aggressive Mars is dampened quite a bit in your Sign, but nonetheless his energy is there for you to use in a very personal manner, especially if your birthday is around July 1- 5. For the first eight days of the month, he'll be trining the Sun in fellow Water Sign, Scorpio, your Natural 5th House, which should have a very positive effect on your creativity. The 5th House also includes your children and lovers, so if there is something you'd like to get going with either or both of them, that extra boost will probably be quite helpful. You're usually pretty laid back, which is one of your strengths, but a little extra drive and direction certainly won't hurt. The New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th could further assist with a new project or moving in a slightly different direction. Note, however, that on the 15th Mars will start doing the backstroke, meaning he's about to go retrograde (RX), which will knock the wind out of those sails of ambition. This will probably cause some restlessness and irritability if you don't channel it in a positive direction. Your best bet is to think about any self-improvement you'd like to do and plan accordingly. Mars will be in your Sign for quite a while, even after the RX period ends in late January, so you have plenty of time to think about what you'd like to do, then use the energy to accomplish it in the coming months. If things have been a bit stalled around the house since around the middle of October, more than likely this is because Mercury has been retrograde (RX) in your Natural 4th House of home environment. More than likely things have been either breaking down or not working properly, including the TV, cable, phone, internet, appliances, the car, and heaven knows what else. Even communications with immediate family members have probably been full of confusion and misunderstandings. Happily, this should end, at least for the most part, on November 2. Of course this isn't a perfect world and things don't always work properly, but during Mercury RX, especially in this House, they inevitably get worse, so you should see an improvement when it ends. From November 5 - 8 Venus will be squaring Pluto. In its simplest form, this would ordinarily bring out either a power issue or old unresolved problem associated with a romantic relationship. For Crabs more specifically, at that time Venus will be in Virgo, your Natural 3rd House of mental activity and immediate neighborhood. Pluto is in your Natural 6th House of work, health and pets. This is thus likely to stir something up like a power struggle with one of your neighbors or perhaps at work. Another possibility, since your thoughts affect your health, is that this could bring out a health issue of some sort that relates directly to unhealthy attitudes. Pluto is all about transformation, so your best bet is to take advantage of this by confronting anything that surfaces during this time and resolving it properly, rather than burying it. Venus will be doing her best to make your thoughts pleasant and will also shed a positive light on how others perceive you, so if you have something you need to discuss with someone, now is an excellent time to do so. It's also a favorable time to give some serious thought to whether your current employment is what you really want or whether you need to head in a different direction. This could easily combine with the Jupiter - Neptune aspect mentioned earlier to make some major changes in this area. Later in the month Uranus, planet of surprises, upsets and change, gets into the act, and could be pointing toward going back to school. If the shoe fits, wear it. From November 19 - 23 Mars will be squaring Venus in your Natural 4th House of home environment. This usually does not bode well for male-female relationships of any kind. This includes not only your significant other, but any one else of the opposite sex; those gender specific differences will be more apparent and undoubtedly more annoying than usual. This is very likely to stir up some discord in your household between you and your significant other as well as between any children of the opposite sex. It's just one of those times when males and females are going to get in each other's nerves by simply being what they are. Bear in mind that this is Thanksgiving week, so if there's an influx of relatives involved, be prepared. I knew someone once whose childhood Thanksgiving dinners were always accompanied by his uncles getting into a fist fight on the front lawn. I'm not saying this is what could happen, but it could, though in this case it's more likely to be Uncle Joe-Bob and Aunt Sue-Ellen out there duking it out. Keep your sense of humor and camera handy; it will be quite amusing to look back on in the years to come. The month closes with a nice trine between Venus and Neptune between November 25 - 28. Any discord or problems you may have seen in your household earlier in the month should find peaceful resolution at this time. If some major changes need to be made to improve family relationships, the inspiration needed to do so will probably reveal itself. Stepping out of the humdrum existence we live day to day is always good once in a while when it helps us set priorities that aren't simply based on material needs or values. This is an outstanding time to rebuild your family's commitment to one another and set your sights a bit higher. Remember that it's better to set your sights on the stars and drag your feet in the treetops, than aim for the treetops and drag your feet in the mud. |
