The month begins with some nice
opportunities to connect with one of your dreams or find a significant source of
inspiration thanks to a nice sextile
between Jupiter and
Neptune in your 12th and
2nd Natural Houses,
respectively. This will only last until the middle of the month, so don't
waste any time identifying what it might be. While some golden chances
drop into your lap, and I'm not saying that this one won't, usually the way life
works is you have to at least make an effort to attain what you want.
Cappies are no stranger to ambition or pursuing opportunities, so you should
already have a pretty good idea of what you want. If you don't have a
clue, that's all right, also, since it's just as likely to be a bit illusive and
perhaps relate to a different domain than you're accustomed to inhabiting.
In other words, this could also relate to your spirituality and redefining some
of your deepest values and beliefs in this area. If nothing jumps right
out at you, make sure you find some quiet time to think about it and allow the
Universe to whisper a hint or two in your ear. The night sky is usually
beautiful this time of year, so go ahead and wish on a star and see what you
get. The best will probably be to get up before the Sun and say hello to
Venus and Mercury, who will be morning stars this month, and watch out for your
Sign Ruler,
Saturn, also, who's been
coming out in the wee hours and putting on quite a dazzling show. You'll be happy to know that Mercury will station and return to direct motion on November 2nd, ending one more bout with retrograde movement that always tries our patience. This will occur in Libra, which could cause a blip or two related to your career or reputation, especially for those born between January 14 - 17. Things may seem to be standing still at that time, which is pretty true to form, but will get moving again within a day or so, so don't despair. During the first week of the month, Mars will trine the Sun, which should make for some pleasant socializing, both on a one on one and group level. You're likely to be more outgoing than usual and find networking and getting to know people easier than usual. You may find yourself the center of attention with little or no effort on your part, so make use of it any way you can, because this is just a teaser that isn't going to last. In other words, if you make any connections on which you need to follow-up, do it immediately, because roughly a week later, i.e. on the 15th, just about when it seems as if things are going along rather well, Mars will station to go retrograde, which will undoubtedly slow things down in the relationship area for a while. This will be in effect until the very end of January and will be a good time to rethink your personal relationships. Don't expect any progress to be made during this time, but expect a downturn of interest and energy instead. If you have any personal projects you'd like to get off the ground, your ambition generally is probably going to be quite dampened, but it's a good time to plan, nonetheless, especially since you probably won't give a rat's ass whether you socialize much at all at that point. From November 5 - 8th, Venus will square Pluto. Venus, who's currently hanging out in Virgo, your Natural 9th House of higher education, legal matters, long-distance travel, religion and political beliefs, is a nice, friendly planet, at least astrologically, and will generally bode well for these issues. While she's squaring Pluto, who's been camped out in your Natural 12th House of inspiration, institutions and dreams for several years, you're likely to encounter an Aha! moment or two, though this revelation is likely to arrive riding the back of a challenge of some description. Pluto facilitates transformations and they're sometimes reminiscent of the Incredible Hulk. The good news is that this aspect is relatively short-lived, but while it's in effect you're likely to encounter something you didn't know (and perhaps didn't want to) that could change your view of where you wanted to go. This won't necessarily be a bad thing and is best looked upon as a mid-course correction. After all, if you're heading in the wrong direction, the sooner you find out the better. If you hit a dead-end, your best bet is to make a U-turn as quickly as possible and get back on track down a different road. This could easily be further facilitated by the New Moon on the 9th, which will occur in your Natural 11th House of friends, group interactions, hopes and wishes. This implies that your new direction, if any, could come through this area, perhaps through a friend or acquaintance or even just a sudden brainstorm that has more draw than your previous direction. Bear in mind that the planets don't make mistakes and if you're paying attention you're likely to discover something quite pleasant. As if Mars retrograde in your Natural 7th House of relationships isn't a big enough pain, between November 19 - 23rd he'll be squaring Venus, who by then will be in your Natural 10th House of career and reputation. Mars already has your relationships somewhat stuck in the mud, and now he's going to possibly mess with your career as well. This is Thanksgiving week, so depending on where your career ambitions lie, this could potentially be a real nuisance. If you happen to work in retail, good luck as you approach your busiest shopping day of the entire year. Right off hand, it would appear that no matter how hard you work, you won't be impressing any male bosses anytime soon, but more than likely you're going to be less than ambitious, which further explains it. Family get-togethers could be a bit tense as well, so your best bet is to eat lots of turkey, then watch football or take a nap until the weekend. An adjustment is likely to be required somewhere along the line, but it's likely to be much to your benefit later on. Not to worry, though, because this is likely to be relatively minor, since Mars will be RX and Venus will be in fair Libra, making any confrontations quite civilized, even though the tension will be there. The Full Moon on the 24th in your Natural 6th House of work, health and pets, could see the culmination of a project of some sort. It is also a good time to get on a fitness routine or start a diet. Doesn't make much sense, right before the holidays, yet it could be much to your benefit as well if you avoid putting on that holiday weight we're all so prone to do. The month concludes with a nice trine between Venus and Neptune from November 25 - 28. This brings us back to the touch of inspiration that started the month, but this time it connects Venus in your house of career and reputation with your dreams, which in this case are likely to be a bit on the materialistic side. With any luck, you'll get a nice raise that allows you to get something you've been dreaming of for a long time. This month will have a variety of activities and various ups and downs. Opportunities are out there as well as some new inspiration, which you'll do well to pursue, especially during the first two weeks of the month. From the 15th on, relationships are likely to be stagnant at best until nearly February, so it's best to set your sights on something else until Mars goes direct. |
