More good news on November 2, when your Sign Ruler, Mercury, comes out of retrograde (RX).  More than likely you've experienced numerous frustrations since October 12, ranging from computer, internet, and phone problems to other people not getting what you say, probably because you simply have not been able to think as clearly as usual.  You have a brain and you know how to use it, but it's like a mental bad-hair day, or in this case, several weeks.  As a person with heavy Mercury influences in my own chart, I can truly sympathize and will be doing a definite happy dance when it goes away. 

Mars in Cancer, your Natural 2nd House of possessions, pleasures and finances will be throwing a nice trine at the Sun in Scorpio, your Natural 6th House of work, health and pets, until November 8.  You're quite lucky in that Mars is not his usual, aggressive self in Cancer because when he's in a person's 2nd House he tends to mess with your stuff.  While Mercury RX causes things to not operate correctly and communications to break down, Mars tends to cause accidents, invite theft, and all sorts of other nasty things, especially if he's in cahoots with Pluto or Saturn.  Of course a trine is a positive aspect, which helps, too.  And this is not to say that Mars is always a bad actor, because the drive and energy he delivers is usually quite useful.  All that aside, with him trining the Sun, who's highlighting your job and health, it could very well bode well for getting things done and some favorable recognition, maybe for something you did a while back that no one noticed or appreciated at the time.  It's even possible it will result in a raise or award.  It's also a very favorable time to do any repairs or maintenance with your car, appliances, computer, or generally around your home.  Get everything in order early in the month so that the New Moon on the 9th, also in Scorpio, can herald a new phase of your life at work.  Another positive activity to initiate would be to improve your diet and fitness.  Start some new, good habits now so you've got things under control when the holidays kick in with all those tempting indulgences that will accumulate around your waistline.

I need to point out, however, that come November 15, Mars will be the one doing the backstep as he goes into one of his biannual RX cycles, which will last until the end of January.  This will slow things down significantly in the possessions department.  If there is something you need to take care of along these lines, up to and including balancing your checkbook, do it before the 15th because after that your motivation is likely to be nil.  With the holidays around the corner, determine what your budget will be before then and set it aside, or you may be sorry later when the bills start rolling in.

From November 5 - 8 Venus in Virgo will be squaring Pluto in Sagittarius.  Virgo is your Natural 4th House of home environment and Sagittarius is your Natural 7th House of relationships.  During these few days it's likely that something from your past will come up that causes some deep introspection.  Pluto is all about cleaning out old wounds so they can heal properly, so covering it up or refusing to face it will only bite you later.  Use this to confront old demons and cast them out, once and for all. 

Between November 19 - 23, which also happens to be Thanksgiving week, Mars RX will square Venus.  This will not bode very well for male-female relationships generally and with Mars RX the guys are likely to be a bit passive-aggressive.  More specifically for Gemini, as noted earlier, Mars RX will be eyeing your possessions and pleasures, while Venus will be in Libra, your Natural 5th House of children, creativity and love affairs.  A square aspect usually denotes a conflict of some sort, so it's not too hard to do the math on that one.  If this were a trine or sextile, it could indicate some pleasant times, but in this case that probably is not the case.  If you have kids, it looks likely that they'll break something important or cause you to put out some serious cash; creative projects will probably not progress, and your love life may not only be less than stellar, but could cost you money, too, perhaps in flowers or other peace offerings.  During that same time, Uranus, planet of surprises, upsets and change, is also in the act, so expect some adjustments to be required to resolve whatever situation these planets target.  The Full Moon in Gemini on the 24th will hopefully herald the culmination of this or any other crap going on, provided you address the issues at hand and take care of business.  If your birthday happens to be right around May 22 - 25, this will undoubtedly indicate closure of some sort.

Happily, the month ends on a positive note as Venus trines Neptune, who's camped out in your Natural 9th House of higher education, long-distance travel, legal matters, religion, and so forth.  As a data whiz, I know Gemini's can do the math on that one.  Venus + 5th House + Neptune + 9th House = pleasant connections between your children, creative efforts or lovers with your core belief system or perhaps associated with school, travel, or church.  Whichever of these fit your particular life, take advantage of this short but pleasant aspect to end the month in a happy manner.

The first half of this month you should get your possessions in order, i.e. balance your checkbook, work out a budget, and do maintenance as required.  There is likely to be a few relationship issues, but some of these have been around for a while and the cosmos seems to be saying it's time to resolve them once and for all.  Take care of business and you should be able to see some old self-defeating behaviors put to rest and look forward to more positive interactions with those closest to you in the months and years to come.
