More good news this month is the fact that Mercury comes out of retrograde (RX) on November 2nd.  Mercury has been walking backwards in Libra, your Natural 3rd House, which comprises your mental activity and immediate neighborhood since mid-October.  This is probably no big surprise, since more than likely your thoughts have been wandering about inside your head like a lost puppy.  If you've been trying to get focused on something, this has probably been an act of futility that resulted in little more than frustration and a display or two of that Leonine temper.  Rest assured that things will improve after the 2nd.  Mercury RX is good for introspection, however, so hopefully you got something useful out of it nonetheless. 

From November 1 - 8 Mars, who's swimming through Cancer, your Natural 12th House of inspiration, dreams and institutions, will be trining your Sign Ruler, none other than the Sun, in Scorpio, your Natural 4th House of home environment.  Leos like nice things and thus a nice environment which is usually a statement of who and what they are and hold dear.  Lots of white, red, yellow and other bright colors accenting a crisp, contemporary decor is ordinarily what you like.  If you've been in an environment that does not synch well with your spirit, for example one that's colorless or drab, you'll be restless and unhappy until you get it more in line with a true reflection of yourself.  With Mars stirring up your dreams and generating some inspiration, you are more than likely want to express it in your home.  This will give you a significant lift that revalidates you in a very significant way.  The New Moon in Scorpio on the 9th will further emphasize a new phase of some sort in your home, whether it's a new color scheme or a new attitude.  As the days shorten and you see less of your personal friend, the Sun, there's no better time to bring more light and figurative sunshine into your environment to keep your spirits up.

Note, however, that come the 15th, Mars is going to enter one of his biannual RX cycles.  This will serve to turn this energy inward, where he will start swimming around in your dreams or stir up some interesting action in your spiritual life.  This will be in force until the end of January, so moving forward directly during that time will be less likely.  Restlessness and frustration that doesn't seem to have any rationale behind it is likely during this time.  Be patient with yourself, recognize what it is, and keep yourself occupied with planning for the upcoming holidays.  Leos love to party and the party season is around the corner, so immerse yourself in something you enjoy rather than spinning your wheels and snapping at shadows, which will only serve to annoy those around you.

From November 5 - 8 Venus in Virgo, your Natural 2nd house of possessions, pleasures and finances, will be squaring Pluto in Sagittarius, your Natural 5th House.  This is likely to unearth a few old memories of past lovers, of which Leos have probably had quite a few.  If an ex took you to the cleaners in a property settlement, a creative project didn't work out, or one of your kids took advantage of you without adequate appreciation, these past unpleasantries are likely to be floating around in your head like leftover ghosts from Halloween.  Pluto excels in exhuming this kind of crap, but before you give him a bad rap, realize that his primary purpose is regeneration.  When past issues are properly resolved, they're allowed to die so you can move on.  It's burying things that were not taken care of properly that keep raising their ugly heads.  Probably while you're reworking your home under that Mars/Sun aspect you'll encounter various old memories.  When one or more cause you to cringe, resist the tendency to push it back beneath the surface and instead give it a good, forensic analysis.  Leos tend to beat themselves up for their mistakes, which is usually self-defeating.  Give yourself a break and look at it as objectively as possible, as if you were giving advice to your closest friend.  Examine it for what it is, learn from it, forgive any jerks involved, then let it go.  You'll be amazed how much better you feel.

From November 19 - 23, which also happens to be Thanksgiving week, RX Mars will square Venus in Libra, your Natural 3rd House of mental activity.  In its simplest manifestation, this aspect usually does not bode well for male - female interactions, whether it's your significant other or that jerk in line in front of you at the video store.  The gender-based differences will be accentuated and annoying as hell.  For Leos, this is further reflected in that general frustration noted earlier which will cross swords with your conscious mind.  It could also cause a few problems with the neighbors, who will be more annoying than usual, possibly to the point of getting on your last nerve.  Unless you're prepared to move, however, it would be best to keep a lid on that Leo temper or your words and actions may come back to bite you later.  In other words, if your Thanksgiving guests are partying noisily in the backyard and that stuffy a$$hole next door complains, use your Leo charm to dissipate it rather than starting a war.  You seriously don't need another frustration in your life right now, especially if you did your homework with Pluto during the first week of the month.  So let it go, or better yet, invite the obnoxious neighbor over for a piece of pie.  They might actually not be the jerks you thought, once you get to know them.  Uranus, planet of surprises, upsets and change, is also in the game around this same time, and will encourage some adjustments, as needed.  It's your call whether they'll be positive or otherwise.  Your best bet is to let that Full Moon on the 24th in Gemini, your Natural 11th House of groups, organizations and friends, herald the culmination of an unpleasant association in favor of a pleasant one.  We can never have too many friends, n'est-ce pas?

The month winds down with another pleasant aspect as Venus moves into Libra, one of her zodiacal homes, and trines Neptune between November 25 - 28.  This should have positive effects on your relationships as you give them some thought in a nice, fair Venus-in-Libra manner.  Everyone knows that Leos, as the respective king or queen of beasts, is deserving of adoration at any given time, yet there are moments that you don't handle situations exactly correctly and you know it.  This is an excellent aspect to give some of your behavior careful consideration as it relates to your relationships.  Be brave as the royalty you are and even confront your faults, privately, of course.  That done, indulge yourself in some dreams and inspiration on where you'd really like to go with your various relationships and what it will take to get there.  That done, there's no time like the upcoming holidays to make beautiful memories that will last a lifetime or more.
