This month is largely yours, Libra, as the Sun transits your Sign until the 24th. This will generally bring some extra attention your way as if an astrological spotlight has been turned your way. The New Moon is also in Libra on October 11. If your birthday is within a few days, one way or the other, it will be part of your Solar Return and herald a significant new phase of your life of some sort. Every birthday starts a new cycle, but a New Moon will carry a bit more punch than usual. Your Sign Ruler, Venus, is very active this month. She starts the month in Leo, your Natural 11th House of groups, organizations, and hopes & wishes. This should bring some favor your way in these venues. Expect to be included, even specifically invited, to any social gatherings and be a bit more of the center of attention than usual, especially with the Sun boosting your visibility as well. If there is anything you'd like to accomplish either in or through these circles, now would be a good time to pursue it. This is particularly true the first week of the month while she's trining Pluto, during which time some useful information may come to light in one of these venues. On October 9th she'll slip into Virgo, your Natural 12th House of spirituality and inspiration. This is likely to bring some good things your way of an intangible yet noticeable nature. You are fortunate to have a benefic planet ruling your sign who seldom does any harm unless she pairs up with one of her less friendly planetary consorts. However, stuffy ol' Saturn is also in your 12th House, having arrived there early in September. This is not exactly cause for celebration, though the discipline and structure Saturn brings can be helpful in this area, which tends to be somewhat nebulous and lacking in boundaries. In other words, if you have any dreams you'd really like to bring into the real world, Saturn could actually be a rather constructive companion. Midmonth from the 13th to 17th Venus will get together with Saturn, which could emphasize this even more. This will be most noticeable for those born October 4 - 12. Mercury starts the month in your Natural 2nd House, Scorpio, which will have a fairly positive effect on any shopping you need to do, appointments you need to set up, particularly for pleasant activities, and even repairs. Unfortunately, this will only last until the 12th when our speedy little friend once again your Retrograde. This, of course, will have exactly the opposite effect. Possessions, including finances, could get stuck in a do-loop. Whatever you do try to avoid buying anything mechanical or related to communications of any sort during this time as it's likely to be a lemon. Especially avoid big-ticket items such as automobiles, computers, cell phones, televisions and the like. On October 25th his backward motion will bring him back into your Sign, which could hamper your ability to communicate effectively in additional to everything else. So, if there is something you need to purchase or communicate, do it before the 12th or you're likely to encounter a plethora of frustrations problems. From the 16th to the 18th Mercury will be working with Venus, perhaps creating some inspiration that could result in future opportunities. More than likely this will relate to a previous idea that will surface again for reconsideration. If you're pursuing any career ambitions, you'll probably be a bit more driven than usual until the middle of November as Mars cruises through your Natural 10th House of career, community status and reputation. This extra energy can help you make progress, but only if properly directed. Ordinarily Libras a pretty tactful and diplomatic, so this should be a bit more helpful to you than others of a more aggressive nature, but be aware that it could also come back and involve you in some conflict that is entirely not of your making. Just be aware where it's coming from if it seems like things are more stirred up than usual and use it as constructively as you can. If you've been trying to push through a project, this should give you a little extra momentum, but remember to direct it in a constructive manner. Surprises and upsets in the workplace have probably been pretty commonplace for a while now and this will continue for quite a while as Uranus saunters through your Natural 6th House of work, health and pets. Various adjustments may be required as these come to pass and a general sense of restlessness is likely. This is going to be in effect for a couple more years, so use the experience to practice your ability to chill-out and practice detachment from what may at times be rather chaotic. Learn stress management skills and don't get too involved in any conflicts, which I know you hate. As long as this rather nuisance planet is in Pisces this is likely to be the case, so changing jobs won't necessarily help. About all you can do is suck it up and learn to deal with it, like it or not. From the 25th to the 28th he'll be opposing Venus, which could result in some sort of insightful revelation regarding some of the issues you've been seeing at work, though there's a possibility it could also be health-related. The Full Moon in Taurus on the 25th could highlight something relative to your intimate relationships or possibly shared resources of some sort. This will be most noticeable to September-born Libras. A Full Moon ordinarily indicates a culmination of an activity of some sort, so if you have something in this venue that has been drawing to a close, this could put the lid on it once and for all. Long-term residents Pluto and Jupiter are still in your Natural 3rd House of intellect, neighbors and short trips. Pluto has been there so long that his effect feels natural by now, which for one will deepen your thought processes. Digging out information hidden to others or asking probing questions come more naturally, facilitating research and finding information. Jupiter tends to expand anything he touches, so this combination in this house if helpful, especially in Sagittarius, for furthering your education in some manner. Your birthday month is usually significant in one way or another and this one will be no exception. There are also numerous long-term effects going on that should help you become more in control of your life provided you use the circumstances around you to learn what the Universe is trying to teach you. |
