There is a lot of activity in Libra, your polar sign, for most of this month which could trigger some significant events. Of course Rams like to think that they're doing the triggering in one form or another, but you need to give credit where credit is due. While you may not want to believe it, the various members of our Solar System are in charge more than you'd like to think.

Libra is your natural 7th House which covers relationships, including personal, romantic and business partnerships. Considering that the Sun, Mars, Venus and Mercury are all hanging out there it should be intuitively obvious what this month is going to look like for Rams. That's a helluva lot of energy, sexual and otherwise, and considering the fact that it's on the other side of the Zodiac from where your Natal Sun resides, chances are there's going to be a lot of it that you don't particularly like. Mars is your Ruling Planet and he's not at his best in Libra, much less the fact that he's opposite his homebase of Aries. If any confrontations are due or overdue, you can expect them to happen this month. If there are issues to be settled, chances are the Universe is not going to allow you to ignore them, not that Rams necessarily do. About the only time they do that is when they don't think they can win. Just bear in mind that winning isn't everything.

OMG, I can hear the protests now! To a Ram winning IS everything, but unfortunately the rest of the world, at least here on planet Earth, does not always agree. Since Libra is all about compromise, fairness and making everyone happy and that's where lots of planets are hanging out, you have a rather formidable opponent.

Now that your blood pressure is probably rising, I think I'll side-step to less volatile aspects for a moment so you can cool off before I get to rest of the heavy stuff. Uranus, planet of change, innovation and unexpected events is in your Natural 12th House which rules your subconscious. Most of us give Uranus a rather suspicious eye, but in this case and in view of everything else that's going on he is probably your friend. His presence there can help prepare you for any changes you need to make in your life and attitudes. The fact he's retrograde isn't necessarily a good thing, but that's the way it is. Just look at it as more spontaneity, which is probably at least marginally palatable.

The Full Moon on the 6th is in Aries, which is somewhat in your favor. There is an aspect at that time to Uranus which will probably help you justify your position, at least to yourself. Other effects of that Full Moon, however, may include a lot of emotional energy. Remember that the Moon may be in your sign, but the Sun and it's cohorts, i.e. Mars and Venus, are staring you down from the other side of the Zodiac. To get right to the point, emotional energy for a Ram in this situation will probably entail donning armor.

Neptune is still retrograde in your 11th House of groups and social circles, including the people you work with, but he goes posigrade on the 29th. Delusions and misunderstandings, unclear communications, and a bit too much emotionalism should shift more toward idealism and inspiration at that time, which should be a little easier to handle. Pluto is still transiting your 9th House of higher education, long journeys and legal issues. This continues to deepen and darken your view of society in general and will color any involvement in 9th House matters accordingly. Jupiter is transiting your 8th House of sex, death, regeneration and other people's money. Jove is usually a benefic planet and is probably throwing some definite emphasis on these areas. Tearing down and rebuilding these areas of your life will continue for some time. The fact that the sign involved here is Scorpio will add to the intensity of these issues.

OK, on to the good stuff. That New Moon on the 22nd is going to really nail all that activity over in Libra, especially for those with birthdays between April 13-20 since it will be directly opposite your Natal Sun. This lunation also brings an almost exact conjunction between Jupiter and Mercury in Scorpio. This aspect will enhance communications, which on the positive side means talking things out looks favorable. However, being in Scorpio, there's no telling. The energy there could be less than friendly. Look out for that scorpion's tail, including hidden agendas, dirt from the past, extortion and/or blackmail schemes, and any number of other less-than-advantageous motives. New Moons imply a new beginning so look at this as an opportunity to clear the slate of the past and begin a new phase of your life. Any necessary confrontations may not happen on the day of the New Moon, but the wheels will definitely be put in motion.

By Halloween, the Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars will join Mercury and Jupiter in Scorpio. This energy will be of an entirely different character than when they were in Libra. Libra is all about fairness while Scorpio is all above power. And this is all happening in your Natural 8th House. Do the math. Furthermore, Mercury goes retrograde on the 29th, which will make communications difficult. VERY difficult, since he's still in conjunction with Jupiter. Don't expect people to understand because they probably won't. You may as well be speaking in some foreign tongue. Computers, cars, traffic lights and all that stuff will be misbehaving as well, putting everyone is a pissy mood at best. However, this is the kind of environment where Rams thrive, when they simply shut up and draw their sword.

You may have been less than enchanted with some of what went on before, but now is when you can combine your natural Aries drive with all that energy that is now resident in your 8th House to obtain what you really want. On the 31st there is also a conjunction between Uranus and the Moon, throwing some extra emotional energy toward those changes you're making at the subconscious level.

All in all this is likely to be an interesting month for Rams. By the time it's over you might be a bit bloody but more than likely victorious. Which is what Rams are all about.
