No planets are transiting your sign this month but that doesn't mean that there
isn't anything happening.
Neptune is
retrograde in your
Natural 2nd House of
possessions, which could be causing various subtle annoyances. Unexplained
malfunctions, misunderstandings when you purchase something, unclear user
manuals or directions, and a general sense of disappointment in something's
performance are likely. For those of you who are familiar with
Mercury when he's
retrograde, you may have wondered if that was the problem. Not this time,
but admittedly the effects are similar. Neptune excels at illusions and
delusions more than affecting actual functionality, but the nuisance level is
about the same. Your body is your number one possession and you may have felt
tired and unmotivated lately as well. This will probably last until
October 29 when he comes out of retrograde, so don't be too hard on yourself or
your various renegade "things." Give them a couple of months and they may
miraculously start working properly again. Your life has probably been somewhat hectic with activities and changes going on at a rapid pace. A lot of this has been primarily mental action more so than physical, but this has been physically tiring as well. You can blame this on Uranus in your Natural 3rd House, which rules your intellect. He's also retrograde and not changing direction until well into November. Don't take on any projects or assignments you can avoid and make it a point to relax mentally as often as possible. Exercise may help here so if you have to take on something else, make it an exercise or yoga class. The Full Moon on the 7th may throw a little extra energy in this direction also. Your ruling planet, Saturn, is in your Natural 8th House all month and Venus is there until the 6th. As Cappies know all too well, Saturn is far from boisterous or ostentatious, but many of those sober qualities are somewhat diluted when he's in Leo. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Lightening up a little is usually advisable from time to time, especially for folks that tend to be a bit more serious than necessary. With all the frustrations, minor or otherwise, that have been going on around you a little indulgence is well deserved. If you're seeing things slightly differently than you used to, be honest with yourself and you might decide that you really kind of like not being such a stick in the mud. As an Earth Sign it's doubtful you'll go out there and get really crazy with your credit cards or turn into a complete party animal, but don't worry about it if you buy something a little more extravagant than you would normally, go out to eat a bit more or to better restaurants, or take that weekend trip you've been thinking about for a while. Getting away is quite likely rather appealing since the Sun, Mercury and Mars are all in Virgo, your Natural 9th House of long distance travel. Legal issues and higher education are in that House as well. Thus if you've been thinking of taking a trip or going back to school, now is a good time to start getting it together. Whatever you do, don't jump into something impulsively since your life is currently hectic enough, but putting things in place for a few months down the road may offer a pleasant distraction from the current noise level being generated by life in general. Toward the end of the month, this trio of planets will move into Libra, which will provide a boost in your Natural 10th House of community status and reputation, Capricorn's natural domain. If you've been trying to accomplish something or garner some recognition, chances are it will come your way at that time, so be prepared to accept the attention in your usual gracious, understated way. The New Moon on the 22nd could well usher it in. If you've seen a definite expansion of your social circle the past several months it's probably thanks to Jupiter strolling through Scorpio. These new folks have come into your life in a natural course of events and you're probably finding a few new friends in the process. Since Cappies are not usually too outgoing, this is a good thing to have fall into your lap. Naturally, social climbing, being appreciated and improving your reputation are some of your favorite activities, and you never know what new friends and acquaintances can do for you in that regard. Plus, having a little more fun is good for you as well. Sometimes the planets are a pain in the butt and others they bring good things right to our doorstep, so take these gifts graciously and remember them when the challenges come along. With Pluto in your Natural 12th House you've probably found your political views becoming even more cynical than normal. The world is not a very nice place these days and power trips abound. You've never been one to have a pollyanna view anyway, and even less so now. Your disgust will let up some when Pluto goes posigrade on the 5th, but those fantasies you've had of killing them all and letting God sort them out should diminish in magnitude and frequency sometime soon. All in all, the noise level this month will be fairly high, the stress level similar, but beneath it all good things are in the works. |
