Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon on November 5 is in Scorpio, your 6th House of work, service, health and pets so watch for something new to come your way in this part of your life. If your birthday is within a day or so of June 4th you're even more likely to encounter an adjustment or perhaps a complete change of course related to one or more of those areas. If your birthday is right around May 28 you may encounter some conflicts in your relationships. You or those close to you may be more argumentative than usual and harder to get along with. Changes and disruptions which relate to your job and/or career are likely to take you by surprise. Keep your ears open for information and data which isn't announced officially but will benefit you during these rather unstable times. Make sure you can trust the source, however, before taking any significant action. If you've been thinking about going back to school, are involved with any legal issues (including contracts), are planning a trip or relocation, or have involvements of a political or religious nature be especially tuned for annoying deceptions or illusions. You may even be unsure of what your beliefs really are, particularly as they relate to your job or service activities. Enlightenment and inspiration is possible, especially for those of you born around June 17, but use your strong logical thinking skills to scrutinize it carefully. With Venus retrograde until November 17th it may be harder than usual to make money, especially if you're in a job that involves commissions; if you're hoping for a raise it's not likely to come until after then, if at all. If anything, it's more likely that your income will decrease. After Venus goes direct there may be some improvements, but they are likely to be temporary and only last until the first of December when she goes into Scorpio, which is the sign of her debility, until after the first week of January. Once she goes into your 7th house of relationships at that time you should see improvements in that part of your life at least. The Full Moon on November 21 is in Taurus, your 12th House of angels and demons. This is your woo-woo house which includes dreams, inspiration, enlightenment, seclusion, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing. A Full Moon typically brings a culmination, ending or shift to a new phase. Seek inspiration at this time and focus particularly on any self-defeating behavior you may have so you can take steps to eliminate them. If tension has been building in any of your close relationships this month expect it to erupt in arguments about this time, particularly if your birthday is right around June 8. If you've been sucked in by any delusions or wishful thinking it's likely to become apparent at this time. This is a favorable time, however, to focus on your creative efforts, your speculations, involvement with your children and romantic interests. If you've been starving your spiritual side, now is the time to find ways to keep it properly nourished. If your job or career has drained you or is entirely unsatisfying, use this time to make some changes, either in your career direction itself or your attitude toward it. Use creativity and innovation to rectify the situation and make it more comfortable. Daily and Short-term Aspects November 1: Expect a lot of action in the job/career area. Remember that there's a difference: a job is how you earn you pay and a career is where you leave your mark on the world and not necessarily earn a dime. It's best when these two are one and the same. If they're not, think about how you can reconcile the two. This may involve some deep introspection which facilitates a considerable change in your outlook and attitude. November 4: Expect the unexpected with regard to your job/career situation. A sudden change or upset is possible, perhaps only in your understanding. Interesting news which could relate to an ethics issue or simply create a major shift in your beliefs and expectations is likely. November 5: New Moon today in Scorpio as described above. November 6: Be especially alert today with regard to information and its accuracy. Also don't delude yourself with regard to what's going on at work. If you haven't figured out yet where you want to go careerwise you can expect a few possibly startling ideas in that regard today, particularly if your creativity or ego is being stifled in its current position. November 7: Venus retrograde backs into Libra where she'll be for the rest of the month. Venus is in her dignity in this sign and functions well so use that energy to examine how to better express your creative side and ego. This is a favorable time to pursue a favorite hobby or discover a new one. Speculations should be looked at carefully as well. Neptune goes direct which will help you find inspiration with regard to your beliefs and expectations. Any confusion you've experienced the past few months should improve and come into focus. November 8: Mercury, your Sign Ruler, goes into Sagittarius. This will facilitate conversations with those close to you but with Mars in that sign as well there's the potential for arguments. November 10: Expect to see something related to your job which you hadn't seen before or had been ignoring which has a strong and deep influence on you. November 14: Conflicts at work or with your significant other, probably over money, are likely, which will make you feel stifled or restricted from expressing yourself. November 15: Spend some time considering your expectations with regard to your job and career or public persona and how to improve that part of your life. November 17: A conversation or new information at work will have a personal effect. Look beneath the surface for its true meaning. An opportunity to restructure something, perhaps a creative work, will present itself for your consideration. November 18: Venus goes direct which will allow you to progress at last with something you've wanted. Be careful to see things clearly, however; if you've been confused or not seeing things clearly you need to confront it. Be prepared for some surprises when you do. Jupiter goes direct which will open up more possibilities for your career or to improve your status. November 20: Arguments with someone close to you are likely. If anything has been brewing or building up it's likely to come out at this time. Feeling stifled or restricted is likely to recur, particularly if you don't take charge and defend yourself. November 21: Full Moon in Taurus as described above. November 22: The Sun enters your polar sign, Sagittarius. While the Sun goes through that sign you'll encounter your solar opposition around your half-birthday. This can be a very significant time, so be aware. November 25: A new challenge at work which will relate to expanding your career or status is out there today. November 27: Stay tuned for inspiration today, particularly as it relates to your beliefs. If you're involved in a legal matter or going to school you can expect some interesting and possibly unexpected insights that may bring a challenge. November 29: Venus enters Scorpio which may improve your job situation to some degree. Moving forward with your career or status is likely to stir up some contention at home or at the least displease someone close to you. November 30: Mercury enters Capricorn which will help you through any transformations you need to make and/or bring news or encourage communications with regard to debts or shared resources. |
