The New Moon on October 7 is in fellow Air Sign, Libra, your 9th House of higher learning, beliefs, expectations, legal matters, other cultures and long-distance travel. If your birthday is within a day or so of February 3rd this will have a stronger impact; remember a New Moon usually brings something new. Saturn and Mercury are close enough to the New Moon to influence its character, which in this case is likely to be thoughtful and perhaps even serious. Saturn is about restructuring, discipline and those hard lessons we experience from time to time which give us pause, so if there's something in this part of your life that isn't working as you'd like, this is a good time to give it some serious thought.

Venus and Mars are cozied up to one another in passionate Scorpio, your 10th House of status and reputation, so there's a good chance that something could be brewing on the romantic side. This pair is causing some friction, however, with regard to those other plans. With Pluto now fully established in your 12th House of angels and demons for the long haul, you can expect that he's going to be tearing up that part of your life with his figurative backhoe as well. The 12th is the land of our dreams as well as where we find Nirvana, inspiration, enlightenment and so forth but it is also where institutions, seclusion, hidden enemies and self-undoing reside as well. Pluto will be on a cleaning frenzy so brace yourself with dealing with anything you've kept buried which needs to be exhumed and eliminated from your life. Venus goes retrograde this month as well which will further help you exorcise old demons, particularly those that relate to your status in some way. The last time Venus went retrograde in Scorpio was in October 2002, so if you can remember what was going on in your life then, you may be in for a rerun, especially if you didn't resolve it back then. The planets have quite a long memory for unfinished business.

Jupiter and Uranus, both retrograde in Pisces, your 2nd House of finances, possession, needs, wants and pleasures, are traveling together as well. You may be forced unexpectedly to confront issues in this part of your life that have some sort of ethics spin. This pair has also been known to bring windfalls, but that usually also involves Venus. She is pretty close to forming a sesquiquadrate, which could stir up a few things, but I wouldn't bet the food money on it even though it might be worth spending $1 on a lotto ticket, just in case. Buying more than one isn't going to increase your chances. If you're supposed to win, you will. Lottos are basically taxes for those who are bad at math, i.e. the odds are so poor that it has to be fate if you actually win.

The Full Moon on October 22 is in Aries again. If your birthday is within a day or so of February 17 this lunation will sextile your Natal Sun, possibly bringing an opportunity your way through a neighbor or sibling. It could also relate to a short trip or a longer one to a familiar place. Venus is well into her retrograde cycle by this time and separated quite a bit from Mars, though they're both still in Scorpio along with Mercury; the Sun is only a sneeze away. All of this energy in your 10th House is likely to create some activity with regard to your status, reputation, public image or possibly your career. Mercury and Pluto are nicely connected via sextile, an opportunity to perhaps leverage an emotional situation through resolving an old issue. If such a situation presents itself I'm sure you're recognize it. Make sure you keep your eyes on your ambitions but leave those rose colored glasses behind. If it looks too good to be true, that may be the case, so get it in writing before you get too excited. That said, there is a reasonably good chance for something positive to come about with regard to your finances or something you've been wanting. The key is to visualize and believe in what you're going after; it can't manifest in the material world unless you create it in the unseen world of your imagination first.
