Lunations and Long-term Aspects This month the New Moon on October 7 is in Libra, your 6th House of work, health and pets, bringing something new to this part of your life or perhaps a new phase of an existing situation; if your birthday is with a day or so of May 5 this is most likely to affect you. With Saturn and Mercury both in Libra as well, their energy will be influencing the lunation. Saturn, the King of Karma and master of hard lessons, may be noticeable. Saturn also represents authority figures, so look for some news from your boss which will change things in some way. Be prepared to make a few adjustments or possibly even a complete change of course. As a Fixed Sign I know you dislike change, but unless you're entirely enchanted with your current situation it has to change in order to get better, so keep this in mind. This Saturn influence is most likely to affect you if your birthday is right around April 27 - 30. For this lunation your Sign Ruler, Venus, is conjunct Mars in passionate Scorpio which just happens to be your 7th House of relationships. I'm not going to touch that one in what's supposed to be a family website. If you can't figure out what it means, then you're probably not old enough to worry about it, anyway. The rest of you should be able to find some definite satisfaction for your sensual side. Note, also, that right after the New Moon Venus stations retrograde which should stir up some interesting things with your relationships. Pluto is settled in for the long-haul in Capricorn, your 9th House of higher learning, legal matters, relocation, long distance travel, other cultures, as well as your beliefs, e.g. religion and politics, and expectations. Pluto's figurative backhoe will be excavating in this vicinity for several years to come. This is not necessarily a bad thing. This combination may cause some discomfort but is likely to facilitate some action in this part of your life which will relate to those things referred to above. One example of how all these energies could work together would be your boss tells you are being demoted to a job your absolutely hate, but you can't really afford to quit. Thus, you start thinking about returning to school to complete or augment your education so you can get a better job. A friend knows someone at the local college who can help you get it, but this is going to cause some major adjustments to your finances in order to pull it off. So your have challenges galore, yet you can see the benefits of taking them on and thus lower that hard, Taurean head with those horns aimed at the resistance and go for it. The Full Moon on October 22 is in Aries, about a sneeze away from your Sign. Aries is your 12th House of angels and demons which includes such things as inspiration, enlightenment, transcendence, seclusion, hospitals, institutions such as prisons, hidden enemies and self-undoing. A Full Moon typically brings a culmination or ending as well as the possibility for shifting to another phase. Thus, it could likewise help elevate you to a new level, particularly since Pluto's transformational energy is involved in an aspect known as a Triangle of Potential, which puts you in the driver's seat to use this lunation in a very positive manner provided you decide to make some required changes to your philosophy of life or some other 9th House issue. October 3: Encounters with the opposite sex will be particularly intense today. Mercury enters Libra, facilitating information and news with regard to your job or possibly your health. October 4: Relationship issues will be on your mind today, perhaps due to some unexpected action by one of your friends. If you've been entertaining any delusions with regard to your career or status, you may be forced to confront the truth. October 5: The process of examining your core beliefs and what you need to do to increase your stability begins.
