Lunations and Long-term Aspects This month the New Moon on April 3 is in Aries, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. Considering how many planets as well as the New Moon are in this sign, you can be reasonably assured that something new is going to come into this part of your life. If your birthday is within a day of November 6th you can expect to make some adjustments, change course or justify why not. Moving forward is going to be inhibited due to the fact that retrograde Saturn is opposing the New Moon from your 12th House of angels and demons which comprise your dreams, spirituality, inspiration, enlightenment, institutions, seclusion, hidden enemies and self-undoing. Saturn retrograde is about restructuring something in that part of your life, though you may not currently be consciously aware of what it is and indeed may not be until mid-June when Saturn goes direct. However, if you really want to know what it is, chances are, being a Scorpio from whom secrets can rarely hide, you can probably figure it out. That is provided you really want to; as a Fixed Sign you don't always want to make necessary changes until they bite you. Thus, something new coming your way, perhaps with regard to your job, will be contingent on your reworking something at the spiritual level. Considering that self-undoing resides in this house, this would be a good place to look and if you're blind to what that might be, ask a close friend or relative to be brutally frank and point it out, though you will probably have to promise to restrain that Scorpio tail before they will. The other planets in Aries besides the New Moon comprise Mars, Uranus, Jupiter and Mercury. Depending on where your Natal Sun is located it will connect with different planets, adding a slightly different flavor to its effect. If your birthday is right around October 25, watch for something to come out of the blue and take you entirely by surprise and immediate take you in a different direction than where you thought you were headed. If your birthday is within a day or so of November watch for an opportunity to expand, though it will also be contingent on dealing with that 12th house issue Saturn is trying to bring to your attention. If you were born within a day or so of November 16, it's time to go back to the drawing board with something. Rethink, reconsider, re-plan, revise, or recalculate whatever you have in work. Your Sign Ruler, Pluto, continues to plod through Capricorn, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and familiar journeys, where he will be for many years to come. This is certainly a major advantage for Scorpios who already have tremendous powers of discernment. For this lunation Pluto is sextile Venus in fellow Water Sign, Pisces, your 5th house of creativity, ego expression, romance, children, entertainment and speculation. Needless to say having Venus in this particular house should bring pleasant things your way. The connect with Pluto will be beneficial for deep thoughts and considerations with regard to any of those 4th house matters. Creative endeavors will be particularly enhanced, putting your natural x-ray vision on steroids with regard to this part of your life in general. The Full Moon on April 17 is in nextdoor astrological neighbor, Libra, your 12th house as described earlier. A Full Moon generally brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase or cycle. This bodes well for making some progress with regard to whatever Saturn is trying to effect. A change of course is suggested with regard to that creative, romantic or child-related endeavor or anything else you have going on in the 5th. This will ultimately be to your advantage, so don't resist. Also note that dreamy Neptune has just set foot in Pisces, his native environment where his influence truly shines. Expect additional inspiration, enlightenment and insights to flow into your creative endeavors and anything else in that house. If that isn't incredibly good news, I don't know what it! The only caution is that Neptune freely dispenses rose-colored glasses and is also the master of delusion and illusion. Thus, in areas such as speculations and romance, make sure you also gather sufficient facts, even if through your own sense of discernment, before you take any irrevocable steps that could cost you. Also don't let it lead you to believe that your creative effort is the end-all, be-all which will make you rich without sufficient data to back it up. That said, having such a boost to your creative endeavors should be tremendously beneficial so put it to good use. Neptune will go back into Aquarius for a while due to retrograde motion in early August, so realize that this is temporary, at least for a while. He'll return to Pisces for good in February 2012, however, so from that point on for many years to come you'll have this additional help available. |
