Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon on April 3rd is in your polar sign, Aries, which comprises your 7th House of relationships. This includes your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, competitors and professionals with whom you have one-on-one interaction, whether it's your attorney or your hair stylist. Given the fact that Aries is absolutely loaded with planets for this lunation it's bound to be a doosie. Besides the Sun and Moon, Mars, Uranus, Jupiter and Mercury are all likewise in that sign. The only thing that is holding back its energy at all is retrograde Saturn in Libra which is opposing not only the Sun and Moon but Jupiter as well. If your birthday is within a day or so of October 7th you will notice this conflict even more. With Saturn grinding away on your Natal Sun you may already be encountering situations and feelings which are less than enchanting. This can be a rather difficult transit, depending on your situation. Saturn's function while retrograde is to stir up matters at a subconscious level which need to be restructured, though you may not be aware of what it is until June when Saturn goes direct. If you give it proper attention, you can have it resolved by fall. However, this intersession from Aries puts a different flavor on it and indicates that this matter Saturn is pondering has to do with one or more relationships. It's also possible that whatever you're wanting to restructure at a personal level will encounter some opposition from someone, thus delaying your progress. Libras tend to be peace makers who aren't comfortable with confrontations though sometimes they'll resort to being passive-aggressive when hostilities leak out. With all that energy in Aries you may actually feel as if you're under attack. If your birthday is right around September 25 you may encounter a surprise and possible unfriendly situation with someone or perhaps want to break free from a relationship entirely. If your birthday is right around October 17 you may be forced to rethink a relationship due to Mercury being retrograde and opposing your natal Sun. There are numerous ways in which this energy could manifest in your life but the chances are quite high that it will involve people who are close to you. With Saturn's restrictive energy in your 1st house you may feel as if you're being held back. This could well be a signal to not make any impulsive decisions now, but gather the facts you need to do so later. Your Sign Ruler, Venus, is in Pisces, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. This is a favorable placement which should benefit you in this part of your life. Perhaps things on the job have been going smoother than usual or other opportunities have come your way. The love goddess is sextile Pluto, however, which darkens her energy somewhat. Pluto is in Capricorn and squaring the natal Sun for those of you born right around October 1st. Capricorn is your 4th house of home environment, endings, memories and cultural roots so the assumption is that Pluto is doing some digging around in this part of your life and perhaps unearthing old, buried issues that need to be resolved. The sextile to Venus could represent someone you know at work, probably a female, who can provide some insights or wise counsel with regard to any family issues you're struggling with currently. The Full Moon on April 17 is in your Sign and will be right on your head if your birthday is within a day or so of October 21. There are still four planets besides the Sun in Aries so relationship issues are still on the agenda. The Moon is pushing for an adjustment or change of course related to work but working with Neptune to provide some inspiration as well. Saturn is opposing Mars, Mercury and Jupiter which will put some inhibitions in place with regard to expanding a relationship or moving forward with one until you think things through again from a different angle. There is something you need to resolve at a personal level, some growth or understanding you need to achieve, before you can go after something you want. All that activity in Aries may bring your attention to something you'd either missed or tried to ignore. Remember that a Full Moon typically indicates an ending or culmination or shift to a different phase. Consider what your situation is with those close to you in one way or another and whether it might be time to make some changes, either in how you relate to one another or the amount of time and energy you spend with certain individuals. Mercury retrograde is right in the middle of things, implying it's time to rethink, reconsider or re-plan something which is also going to tie back to Saturn's efforts to restructure something at a personal level. Unless all your close relationships are in perfect order, this is the time to look at any problems and put some effort into rectifying them.
