Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon on January 4th is also a Solar Eclipse which will add substantially to its effect. If your birthday is within a day or so of August 6 you are most likely to see something of significance which will involve a change of course, adjustment or the need to justify your current position. This eclipse is a member of the 13 North family of the Saros Series. Its generic meaning relates to group endeavors which will encounter a separation before the project will reach successful completion. On the person level the effects are similar except the individual will encounter a separation or break away from someone or something before they can take part in a group achievement. This specific eclipse brings a lot of Capricorn energy with the Sun, Moon, Mars, Pluto and the North Lunar Node in that sign. Capricorn is your 6th House of work, health and pets so this is where to watch for something the fits the above descriptions. There will be a lot of energy to move forward and something new is on the way, but there may be a need to eliminate anything that is out of date, beyond its usefulness, or corrupt before progress can be made. If your thoughts have been more serious than usual the last year or so, you can blame Saturn. This transit will be beneficial for getting your thoughts organized, planning and focusing your ambitions. Your home life has been interesting lately, which should bring beneficial changes your way at a deep, personal level. Take steps at this time toward moving forward with something you want to do because once Saturn goes retrograde you'll encounter delays, obstacles, and possibly bureaucratic hassles. With Saturn in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, siblings and neighbors you can expect that any progress in that part of your life will slow down considerably. When Saturn is retrograde he will be stirring up something in this part of your life which needs to be restructured in some way. You may not have any clue what it is until June when Saturn goes direct. However, if you feel as if you have a weight holding you back or the feeling of gloom and doom, that will be the cause.
