Lunations and Long Term Aspects The New Moon/Solar Eclipse on June 1st is in fellow Mutable Sign, Gemini, your 10th house of career, reputation, status and public image. Knowing your propensity for detail, please note that "status" involves a whole bunch of stuff beyond your career, much as "status" on Facebook covers a wide variety of activities and situations. In this case, however, it will involve primarily those things which are found in the public record, such as marriages, divorces, births, licenses, or things which may appear in the newspaper such as graduating from school. Being promoted or fired, elected or defeated, or arrested or honored are also in this venue. So, that reminder provided, you need to watch this part of your life for some event or situation which will have a significant impact on your life. This will be especially true for those of you with a birthday within a day or so of September 4th. While this event may bring a challenge, it looks as if it has the potential to be beneficial financially. The eclipse is trining Saturn which has been retrograde in your 2nd house of possessions, finances, income, needs and pleasures since the end of January. Saturn RX causes you to ruminate on something at the subconscious level which relates to the house he's in and needs to be restructured. You may have no clue whatsoever what this may be other than having an uneasy or fearful feeling, which of course career worriers like Virgos often have on a regular basis. The good news is that when Saturn goes direct on June 13 and his energy gets on track once more you will start to figure out what this is, if you haven't already. Usually Saturn in your 2nd house is about budgeting your money more carefully though it could also relate to taking a break now and then and indulging yourself rather than being a perpetual workaholic. Saturn is also a member in a T-square which also includes Pluto and Uranus. Saturn's meaning will be as described above but also blended with these other two planets. Pluto is in fellow Earth Sign, Capricorn, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation. Pluto's function as the zodiacal backhoe is to unearth those things which you've buried rather than resolving properly, those nasty things you don't want to deal with so simply ignore. So take a look at those things included in the 5th and see if you can figure out which of them contains unfinished business. Pluto is also about power trips and obsession so give that some thought as well. Then tie this back to Saturn and restructuring your finances and see what you come up with. But you're not done yet, Uranus is in there, too, and could make it even more interesting. Uranus is the planet of disturbances, sudden events, rebellion, breaking free, innovation, originality and surprises and he's in Aries, which is impulsive and potentially aggressive. Uranus in Aries is one of the things causing all the things you see in the news these days whether it's protests in the Middle East or violent weather. Aries is your 8th house of transformations, intense experiences, death and regeneration, sex, debt and shared resources. Thus, over the next several years while Uranus is in Aries you can expect a variety of interesting and unexpected events that have a profound affect on you. This is not a time to invite problems because they're likely to find you easily enough without any help from you. Don't take any unnecessary chances until Uranus is permanently settled into Taurus, which will be in March 2019; I kid you not. And I assure you that your life is not likely to be boring during this time. This is not to say it will be one catastrophe after another, but there will be numerous upsets which being the orderly, careful, meticulous planner that you are, will cause you to say bad words and perhaps indulge in more adult beverages than usual. For this month you can expect Uranus to be involved in something which is going to reverberate off of Pluto and Saturn, something unexpected that could shake you up a bit and clashes with your ego, perhaps, or possibly your speculations or something else in your 5th house and also your financial situation, though it could also intrude on your time such that you can't find the time you need for yourself. It may not be a terrifically big deal, but something is going to get your attention and affect these parts of your life. The Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse on June 15 is in Sagittarius, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots and endings. This will have the strongest impact on those of you with birthdays within a day or so of September 18. Lunar eclipses typically hit more on the emotional or mental level whereas solar eclipses bring situations and events, though of course they can also be connected. The T-square described above is still in force, implying that situation isn't going to be entirely resolved just yet. Your status is going to have some involvement here as well, perhaps some news or information that affects you, your homelife, memories or whatever. Jupiter has moved into fellow Earth Sign, Taurus, by this time, your 9th house of beliefs and expectations, philosophy of life, higher learning, legal matters, travel to faraway places, other cultures, religion, politics and so forth. His trine with Pluto implies that dealing with that 5th house matter you've kept buried is going to have an effect on how you see the world or one of the other issues named above. Changes of direction are indicated, though they may actually manifest on the mental plane as an attitude adjustment. All in all, it looks like an interesting and eventful month, which eclipses typically bring. |
