Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon on March 4th is in Pisces, your 6th House of work, service, health and pets, which should bring something new your way in this part of your life. There's a lot of energy in Pisces besides the lunation due to the presence of Mars, Mercury and Uranus as well and the Sun and Moon, giving a few more hints to what this may comprise. If your birthday is between October 6 - 11 you can expect it to have a stronger impact. Mars is a bit subdued in this intuitive Water Sign, but this combination could also misdirect you to something that may be an illusion if you're not careful. If you employ your natural Air Sign logic, however, you may be able to use this to pursue something that is inspired. Mercury in Pisces doesn't operate very well, either, adding to any possible confusion, though this could also be inspiration. Blending these influences with logic could be quite beneficial but don't necessarily take what you see at face value. Uranus is in Pisces for all intents and purposes but only a sneeze away from entering Aries. While in your house of work and service the past several years (since 2003, more or less) Uranus has probably delivered various surprises, disruptions and disturbances in this part of your life and may decide to go out with a bang. Time will tell, as always. Saturn is in your sign doing the backstroke and is conjunct your natal Sun this month if your birthday is between October 6 - 11. This is often a serious and demanding transit at the personal level. Saturn retrograde tends to work at the subconscious level with the issue that needs to be restructured coming to your conscious mind when he goes direct. Being quincunx the New Moon ties whatever is going on at work into the picture in some way, so give that some thought as well. However, you may not recognize it for what it is until mid-June when Saturn goes direct. Jupiter is squaring Pluto for most the month with Pluto in fellow Cardinal Sign, Capricorn, and squaring you natal Sun if your birthday is within a day or so of October 2nd which in that case forms a t-square. Jupiter is in fellow Cardinal Sign, Aries, your polar sign and 7th House of close relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, and competitors. Jupiter tends to expand our horizons and would work at bringing new people into your life or expanding any existing relationships. Pluto lends an interesting twist, however, which relates to your home environment, cultural roots or memories. Pluto is going to be working on this part of your life for several years to come and during this time you will be ruminating on various elements of this part of your life, past and present, and revitalizing or possibly eliminating certain things that come up for review. Resolving old issues that may be holding you back in some way is important, albeit difficult. Jupiter's involvement from the 7th suggests that until you resolve these matters which have been buried for possibly years you won't be able to move forward with any new relationships or expand any existing ones. Pluto is also sextile Neptune in fellow Air Sign, Aquarius, your 5th House of ego definition, children, romance, entertainment and speculation. This can provide useful insights into your own role in these matters and your reaction to them which will prove helpful. Your Sign Ruler, Venus, is also in Aquarius which bodes very nicely for romance as well as pleasant experiences with your children. It's also a time to treat yourself kindly, consider your own needs and consider what you need to be happy. Implications for speculations are reasonably positive as well. The Full Moon on March 19 is in Virgo, your 12th House of dreams, enlightenment, inspiration, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing or what I typically call the woo-woo house of angels and demons. A Full Moon heralds an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase for something in this part of your life. By this time Uranus and Mercury have moved into your polar sign, Aries, and house of relationships as noted earlier. The energy shift from Pisces is quite dramatic and you're likely to notice it, especially Uranus, who will now start bringing his renegade energy to your relationships. This will bring various interesting people into your life and may imbue you with a greater need for freedom or independence. Jupiter and Mercury are opposing Saturn which should stir up some interesting conversations. The Moon quincunx Neptune has implications for a new view of yourself at the emotional and spiritual level. While this could be quite enlightening it could also be undermining or ego-deflating, so guard yourself from attacks, particularly from family members. Remember that your happiness is as important as anyone else's; you can't continue to give when there's nothing left. Consider how you might want to reinvent yourself and redefine your dreams along with what it might take to get there. |
