Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon on May 3rd is in Taurus, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, siblings, and short journeys. This may be a time when you find yourself doing a lot of running around for errands, visits, events and so forth or it could involve your neighbors, brothers and sisters, or it may simply be the spark of a new idea. If you birthday is right around March 3 be on the lookout for an opportunity to come your way through one of these areas. Aries, your 2nd house of finances, income, possessions, needs and pleasure is loaded with five planets at this time implying a lot of activity in that part of your life at this time. Unexpected changes or disruptions are possible as well as sudden flashes or innovative ideas with regard to your material existence. Expanding your income is favored at this time but it will require taking action to maximize it. In other words, some luck may be in play but you're going to have to do something to make it happen. Kind of like the concept that you need to buy a lotto ticket before you can win, not that I'm saying to do that, though this would be as good of time as any to do so. Saturn retrograde in Libra is connected with this lunation and indicating that a change of course or direction will come out of it. What this happens to be may not be apparent for a few more months, after Saturn is out of retrograde, and even then it may be somewhat subtle. Saturn is in the 8th house of transformations, shared resources, intimate relationships, debt, death and regeneration. Of course the transformations frequently come about through events involving those other elements and situations, though they aren't necessary for one to occur, especially when it's the result of an "Aha!" moment that simply changes something inside you so you see things differently than before, understand the world a little better, or simply learn something profound. Looking at this lunation as a whole it appears that something related to your material welfare may bring about a major change of attitude or perspective which will in turn bring some new ideas your way. With Pluto in Capricorn it looks as if you'll be experiencing some major changes with regard to your goals as well as any groups you're associated with, including your circle of friends. Of course the most important news this month for Pisces is the fact that your Sign Ruler, Neptune, has entered your sign. This is going to help ramp up your energy considerably with astrological steroids. If your birthday is right around February 19 you may already be sensing that something unusual is going on in the Universe. You are already very intuitive and see beyond the obvious, a.k.a. reality, much better than those of other signs. This will truly increase your dreamy perspective of things, though you need to be careful that you don't indulge in this energy too far and do something entirely unrealistic such as quit your job and go live on a beach somewhere. It's a very tiny divide between inspiration and delusion, so enjoy it but don't do anything rash without consulting with a very practical and realistic friend, possibly a Virgo, Taurus or Capricorn. The Full Moon on May 17th is in fellow Water Sign, Scorpio, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, religion, politics, legal matters, travel to unfamiliar places, relocation, other cultures and higher learning. A Full Moon brings an ending, culmination, or shift to a new phase so look for something like that with regard to one of 9th house elements. Given the fact this is May, if you're graduating from school at this time that would fit this lunation perfectly. By this time there are only two planets left in Aries with the others joining the Sun in Taurus. This will further fuel any ideas you're entertaining or perhaps stir up some pleasant neighborhood activities, getting together with your siblings or perhaps some pleasant day trips. There is also a suggestion here that your ideas exceed the bounds of reality, so keep that Earth Sign friend on speed-dial. A change of direction as a result of whatever goes on in that 9th house could have a favorable effect on your income as well. Much of this will depend on taking any of that inspiration you may experience and then bringing it into tangible form. Therefore, don't let those daydreams float peacefully away but take hold of them and make them happen. |
