Lunations and Long-term Aspects

The Full Moon on November 10 is in Taurus, your 12th house of Angels and Demons.  This house includes such things as spirituality, dreams, inspiration, enlightenment, seclusion, confinement, institutions such as prisons and hospitals, hidden enemies and self-undoing.  Watch for an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase with regard to something in that part of your life.  Your sign ruler, Mercury, is in partile (same degree and therefore strong) conjunction with Venus in your polar sign, Sagittarius, bringing thoughts your way with regard to your close relationships such as your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners or competitors.  It should also enhance your communications with these individuals.  If your birthday is right around June 5 be expecting some major life changes to come your way as the Lunar South Node transits your natal Sun.  It takes the Nodes 18 years to make a complete sweep through the zodiac so this is a transit which doesn't happen very often and is usually quite significant.

Jupiter is in Taurus as well and still retrograde, internalizing his energy in this part of your life.  Rather than its usual expansive and gregarious nature it will be more philosophical and pensive and be focused on 12th house matters.  Jupiter is trining Pluto in Capricorn, your 8th house of transformations, death and rebirth, debt, shared resources, sex and intimate relationships, and intense experiences.  Pluto is accidentally dignified in this house since these are matters over which he presides as the ruler of Scorpio, thus giving him increased power in this venue.  Being in cahoots with Jupiter in your house of spirituality, you may encounter some revelation which has a life-changing effect on you. 

Mars is just about to leave your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, siblings and short journeys but the quincunx with Uranus in your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, networking and goals suggests that an unexpected event could arise through your associations which gives you a hot idea on which you take action and may also be the trigger for that revelation.  Mars is opposing Neptune, however, which may present a bit of opposition.  Neptune is in your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, other cultures, foreign travel, religion and politics where he could be providing either inspiration or delusions.  Whatever he's up to over there it is likely to conflict with whatever you want to pursue.  Neptune can also instill idealism which can be a stumbling block as well.

Saturn may lend some assistance because he is trining Saturn from fellow Air Sign, Libra, your 5th house of creativity, ego definition, children, romance, speculations and entertainment.  Saturn is usually quite a party pooper but he's exalted in that sign which helps bring out his more positive side.  This placement could be very helpful to you for bringing one of your creative projects into the material plane.  Gemini's tend to take multiplexing to an entirely new level and may have difficulty bringing something to completion.  Saturn's energy could be exactly what you need to "git 'r' dun."  Saturn's trine with Neptune, which will be in effect for several months, can help draw inspiration from your education base or ideological background to assist with your creativity.  This will apply to speculations and entertainment as well as dealing with your children or even possibly finding a romantic partner with similar beliefs to your own.  In other words, if you're looking for someone this looks like a favorable time to do some trolling around your 9th house which comprises academia, church, political groups, the local courthouse and so forth.

The New Moon on November 25 is also a solar eclipse, giving it more significant influence which can last a year or even more.  If your birthday is right around May 24 it will oppose your natal Sun, implying something important may develop with one of your close relationships.  You sign ruler, Mercury, is retrograde, however, which implies delays.  It's also a time to rethink or reconsider whatever is transpiring in this part of your life as opposed to moving forward.  As always, bear in mind that Mercury RX is contrary to the proper functioning of electronic and mechanical devices.  This not only means they're more prone to break down at this time but that anything you buy will be unlikely to perform properly, either.  Of course this is a rather dismal combination as I know from experience when my refrigerator went out during such a transit.  I lived out of an ice chest for as long as I could stand it and when Mercury went direct I bought a new one, not waiting for the "shadow period" to expire.  Well, to make a long story short, the fridge works okay but it sounds as if it's haunted and the handle falls off the freezer from time to time.  Whatever you do, don't buy a car and if you must replace an appliance be sure to get the extended warranty.

Venus is still in your 7th house of relationships which also implies romance; Saturn and Libra are still in trine as well.  Jupiter is a major player in the eclipse due to the fact he's in aspect to so many planets, including the eclipse itself.  He is still retrograde and in Taurus, your 12th house of spirituality.  At this point he is in a Grand Earth Trine with Mars and Pluto, bringing a lot of energy to houses which really hit you at the core.  Mars in your 4th house of Virgo suggests a lot of energy and activity in this part of your life which will hopefully be favorable, but these houses can bite you as well when you consider that Mars also can represent contention or being attacked, literally or figuratively, Pluto is in your house of transformations and Jupiter is in your 12th house which comprises hidden enemies.  Hopefully this will bring about a lovely spiritual renewal of some description but it could also bring some of those dreaded breakdowns around the house.  While Mercury is retrograde you should consider doing some preventive maintenance to make sure everything is working properly; repairs during that time are just fine.

So back to Jupiter in your Angels and Demons house.  Besides the Grand Earth Trine he is also quincunx the eclipse Sun and Moon.  This aspect suggests a change of direction which may result from those spiritual insights.  Surprises, upsets or disruptions that originate with your friends or group associations with your goals also possibly involved, is likely as well.  While this should ultimately be of a beneficial nature, there will be challenges as well, perhaps because they take time away from other activities such as that budding romance.  Home demands could ramp up as well.  Bottom line, it looks like a busy month which you'll remember for some time to come.
