Lunations and Long Term Aspects The Full Moon on November 10th is in fellow Earth Sign, Taurus, your 9th house of higher learning, long-distance travel, beliefs, expectations, religion, politics, other cultures and legal matters. Look for a culmination or shift to occur in this part of your life. Jupiter is in this house as well which will tend to expand something in this part of your life. He is currently retrograde which internalized his energy, thus you may be pondering something in this part of your life as opposed to acting upon it. Jupiter RX also tends to focus on ethics issues so you may be witnessing or involved in something along those lines in one of those 9th house venues. Jupiter is accidentally dignified in this house which increases his influence. He is the ruler of the zodiacal 9th house, Sagittarius, which loves learning and tends to be quite philosophical. Jupiter's trine with Pluto in Capricorn, your 5th house of ego definition, children, romance, entertainment and speculation, will deepen these effects. Pluto is likely to dig up all sorts of interesting things in this context. If your birthday is between August 26 - 31 these two planets are forming a Grand Earth Trine with your natal Sun which will really bring all of this home and may also tie you into these matters personally. There is much to gather and learn from this configuration so take note of what is going on because it is likely to have more personal meaning than you may currently be aware of. For those of you born right around September 12 this lunation forms an aspect pattern known as a Triangle of Potential with your Sun at the apex. This suggests that you are in the driver's seat with regard to these matters related to the 9th house. If you take charge you can use them to your advantage. With Mercury and Venus in your 4th house of home environment, memories and endings you can expect to have a variety of conversations and thoughts about your family. Some of these may be a bit challenging or relate to problems or conflicts which may relate to money or the lack thereof. Saturn is still occupying your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs and pleasures. Luckily he is in Libra, the sign of his exaltation, so he should not be quite as difficult as he can be in other signs. This continues to be a time for you to put together a reasonable budget and pay close attention to your expenditures. Saturn is trining Neptune in Aquarius, your house of work, health and pets. While a trine is usually a favorable aspect, when these two planets get together you need to pay close attention because they are quite antithetical. Saturn builds and manifests while Neptune distorts and dissolves. While this could bring your dreams or products of your imagination into the material world it could have the opposite effect as well. Neptune in the 6th could also introduce misperceptions or delusions with regard to your work or people there. Be wary of deception. In other words, if your financial picture currently looks great, be aware that this is no guarantee that it will last forever; plan accordingly. Mars has been transiting your 12th house for a while and will be out of there by November 12. Until then continue to watch your back. Also keep an eye on any self-defeating behaviors. Be cautious and don't take any unnecessary risks as well. On the positive side, this energy could be helpful for acting upon your dreams or spiritual pursuits. Synchronizing your beliefs and spiritual insights is favored at this time. For example, you may find that your religious or political beliefs are changing or perhaps should if they don't reflect what is inside yourself. An unexpected event or disruption may figuratively slap you upside the head and bring this to your attention, thus nudging you in a different direction. The New Moon on November 25 has some extra punch because it is also a Solar Eclipse. This will only be visible if you live in southern New Zealand but will nonetheless have important implications. Eclipse effects can lie dormant for at least a year. The general flavor of this eclipse according to Bernadette Brady in her book "Predictive Astrology" is that it can bring considerable confusion in personal relationships along with various unexpected events. Feeling as if your "get-up and go" got up and went is also possible. Be extremely careful with any decisions you make at this time because there could be too much confusion to see things clearly. This eclipse occurs in fellow Mutable Sign, Sagittarius, your 4th house of home environment and so forth as noted earlier. Your understanding of one or more family members may undergo significant changes at this time as you see things in a different way or become aware of things you didn't know before. If your birthday is within a day or so of August 30 you are more likely to encounter such a situation which will require you to take action in some way. A certain degree of caution is advised as well, especially if you're traveling at this time. |
