Lunations and Long Term Aspects This month begins and ends with a Full Moon, giving you three lunations to consider though the effects of the second Full Moon on the 31st will show up in September. Note that the square between Uranus and Pluto remains in effect, which will be the case for a good, long time. With Uranus in your sign, if your birthday is within a day or so of March 29, you can expect to see a variety of surprising situations and events during this time. Uranus is quite actively engaged with several planets for this lunation which will impart his energy to those energies as well. In other words, you can expect a variety of surprises this month, many of which are likely to be favorable, perhaps paving the way to break free from something in your past which has been holding you back. The Full Moon on August 1st is in Aquarius, your 11th house of friends, goals, and networking which is likely to bring an ending or culmination to something in this part of your life. The Sun is in fellow Fire Sign, Leo, highlighting your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, romance, entertainment and speculation, which is likely to be involved as well. If your birthday is right around March 31 be on the lookout for an opportunity that comes your way about this time. It may not be earth shattering but could simply be the chance to enjoy yourself with friends and expand your horizons in some way. Mercury is still retrograde at this time, suggesting the need to rethink or revise something, perhaps a creative work. Your Sign Ruler, Mars, is in your polar sign, Libra, and sign of his debility. Mars likes to take independent action but while in Libra may be held back due to others. Saturn is there as well, though Saturn is exalted in that sign and functions very well. Partnerships and relationships reside in Libra so these two planets residing there suggest taking action to restructure something with another person, perhaps a romantic interest. With Mercury retrograde in the house that includes romance it may be time to reconsider something or someone in that part of your life and work together toward resolving any issues. There is a Yod, or finger of God, which hints at using your creativity and expanding your thinking to work at resolving something related to your career. With Pluto in your 10th house of career, status and reputation it is likely you are seeing all sorts of gremlins in this part of your life. Pluto is all about death and regeneration so if you're not happy in your current career now is an excellent time to do some serious brainstorming with regard to which direction to go next. Being open-minded, networking, and innovative thinking can all work in a synergistic manner at this time. The New Moon on August 17 is in Leo, your 5th house of ego, romance, children, entertainment and speculation as noted earlier. This is a time to put some emphasis on this part of your life. This is the "Fun House" so schedule some enjoyment and pleasant experiences. This, in turn, should bring some relationship opportunities, particularly for those of you born around the middle of April. Letting go of old issues is highlighted with the effort required to do so likely to pay off nicely. If you've been bemoaning the loss of someone in your life, go out and have some fun by rediscovering yourself and losing yourself in an activity you love. The Full Moon on August 31 is in next-door neighboring sign, Pisces, your 12th house of angels and demons. This house includes inspiration, enlightenment, spirituality, confinement, seclusion, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing. This is where you can connect with other dimensions as well as sabotage yourself with your weaknesses. Being a Full Moon, however, this is the opportunity to let it be an ending of such behavior or beginning a new phase of enlightenment. Neptune in that sign will assist you with identifying the best course of action to enable you to achieve a productive transformation. Another Yod is out there, this one suggesting such a transformation can have favorable effects with your job. One caution, however, with regard to your Sign Ruler, Mars, who has moved into Scorpio. He is dignified in this sign as its ancient ruler but this is also your 8th house which throws a few caution flags. The 8th includes transformations but also death and regeneration, sex, debt and shared resources. Mars in the 8th can predispose you to intense experiences including accidents. So while you're out there enjoying yourself, don't take any unnecessary or foolish risks.
