Lunations and Long Term Aspects The Full Moon this month is in fellow Fire Sign, Leo, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, romance, children, entertainment and speculation which should bring a culmination or shift in phase to something in this part of your life. During this time the Sun is in Aquarius, your 11th house of friends, organizations, groups, networking and goals, highlighting this part of your life as well. Your sign ruler is retrograde which you may have already noticed is affecting your energy level. He is doing the backstroke in Virgo, your 6th house of work, service, health and pets, so if things seem to have ground to a screeching halt in this part of your life, this is likely the cause. If your birthday is right around April 11 this will be even more noticeable along with a nudge to change direction. Okay, maybe it won't be a nudge but a kick in the rear. Unless you have several chart factors which have a strong mellowing effect it's likely that you are not the most patient person on the block and probably have a temper. Be warned that Mars retrograde is likely to exacerbate some of this with frustrations, suppressed anger and a variety of other unpleasant effects. It is possible that you may simply feel tired and unmotivated, but more likely the lack of forward motion is going to get to you in some form or another. It's important to note that Virgo not only comprises your work but also your health. Clearly these frustrations could have a detrimental effect. Do your best to recognize that regardless of your best efforts you cannot conquer the entire Universe. The planets are going to do their thing and there isn't much you can do about it other than recognize their influence and then put the energy to work in the most positive way. Mars RX is thus a time to slow down and reflect. If there are frustrations or other matters which have been building up, they will begin to simmer at this time. Take note of them and determine what you need to do to resolve them. However, you may not even know this yet, at least not specifically what they are, other than having a vague sense of discomfort. You may also find yourself barking at people or even snapping which, depending on who they are, may simply make things worse in the long haul. By all means find time to relax. This Full Moon is in your "fun" house, so take advantage of that. If you've been neglecting yourself and not taking a break to enjoy life on a regular basis, do so now. It could mean the difference between having an unfortunate health crisis or not. Suppressed emotions and frustrations will ultimately surface as disease, so do whatever it takes to relax and enjoy yourself whether it involves participating in a sport or going to the gun range. Be careful, though, and don't take unnecessary chances because your usual coordination may be compromised and you may wind up hurting yourself. Try to lay off the booze, at least don't use it as a crutch. Another aspect in your favor is Jupiter in Taurus, which comprises your 2nd house of finances, income, possession, needs and pleasures. He is trying to expand this part of your life, but Saturn is opposing him and thus making it more difficult. This, of course, can be another frustration. Saturn goes retrograde in Libra, your polar sign and 7th house of relationships, on the same day as the Full Moon. The good news is that Saturn is exalted in Libra which tends to bring out his positive side which comprises discipline, organization, and balanced responsibility but while retrograde you can still expect to experience delays and restrictions. You probably have some unresolved relationship matters to deal with which probably involve responsibility in some way. These matters are also likely to be affecting your finances in some way. The key to resolving these may involve breaking free which will be encouraged by Uranus who's transiting your sign. If your birthday is right around March 23 Uranus is parked on your natal Sun and will really be stirring things up. Another influence in effect is coming from Neptune, who recently went into the sign he rules, i.e. Pisces. Pisces is your 12th house of angels and demons. In other words, this house includes dreams, inspiration, enlightenment, fantasies, delusions, illusions, self-undoing, prisons, hospitals, the collective consciousness and spirituality. Neptune is going to put these matters on steroids which can be good or bad, depending on how you use it. Neptune can also incline you toward being idealistic, which is usually not a good thing when taken to extremes. Let's go back to that relationship issue and review the influences so you can see what's going on as clearly as possible. Saturn is retrograde in your house of relationships which includes your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, competitors and business professionals with whom you have a one-on-one relationship such as your tax advisor or attorney. Saturn RX is stirring up your subconscious with regard to some issue which could involve responsibility or perhaps simply the structure of a certain relationship. This matter is having a negative affect on your finances and Uranus may be stirring you up such that you want to ditch the entire thing and run away. Neptune, on the other hand, may be haunting you with idealism and bringing out the guilt side of Saturn. Conversely, Neptune may be causing you to ignore the whole thing. If the shoe fits, wear it. Pluto is currently in your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status. Of course this is likely to relate to your job, which is being taunted by Mars. Pluto, the zodiacal roto-rooter, is trying to transform something in this part of your life. If you have anything to hide in this part of your life, you are screwed. On the positive side, now is the time to exhume your public life and career to date and dispose of anything you no longer need. If you're in the wrong career, that may mean starting over from scratch. If your birthday is right around March 29 then Pluto is squaring your natal Sun and this will be impossible to ignore. The rest of you may be able to address it at your leisure, or at least put it off until Pluto makes his way to you. At any rate, you can see how the Universe is pushing you toward some major changes right now. As a Cardinal Sign you are well situated to take control and take off in the right direction, but now is a time for contemplation and planning as opposed to action, something which is not your natural modis operandi. As big and bad as you may be, however, you need to choose your battles and going up against the Universe is not a good idea. The New Moon on February 21 is in Pisces, your 12th house of angels and demons as defined above. There is a whole bunch of energy in Pisces at this time including the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Neptune. Use this to find the inspiration you need. Take the time to relax and contemplate what you really want in life as well as what renews your spirit, which may be suffering from malnutrition. If you're one of those Aries who gets blind drunk a few times a year, then this would probably be one of those times. While I don't recommend that, do whatever it takes to transcend your troubles and seek enlightenment. Venus is in your sign at this time which should help you feel pretty good about yourself. This is a good time to really show off your charming side. With Mercury in Pisces, you may be able to acquire inspiration but make sure it's not too idealistic or delusional. Jupiter is trining Pluto which should be helpful for renovating your career in a way which will have a positive effect on your income. This is also a favorable time to discover a new direction with regard to your work. Times are tough right now, but your pioneer spirit is strong and capable and Aries typically thrives on a challenge. Bon chance. |
