The month starts out with a Lunar Eclipse on June 4, the companion to the solar eclipse which occurred on May 20. While solar eclipses tend to precipitate events and situations, lunar eclipses are more likely to operate on the emotional plane. This one occurs in Sagittarius, your 11th house of group, organizations, friends and goals. This is an important house for Aquarians given that your sign is the 11th house of the zodiac which rules such things. This lunation isn't all that friendly looking, but that does not necessarily mean it will present a problem. The worst transits you've ever seen can interact in a favorable way with your natal chart, or your secondary progressed, solar return, or planetary return charts and thus not be any trouble at all. Another important chart if you have moved a long way from where you were born is your relocated natal chart, which typically changes your ascendant and all the house cusps accordingly, often making a significant difference.

The Sun for this eclipse is in fellow Air Sign, Gemini, highlighting your 5th house of ego definition, children, creativity, children, entertainment and speculation. This will work in concert with the Moon in your 11th, co-mingling these two areas in one way or another. For example, something may come up in this part of your life, such as an opportunity to have some fun, but it will impact one of your goals or an organization you're involved with. This is further complicated by Mars, which is forming a T-square with the lunation. Mars is in Virgo, your 8th house of transformations, sex, death and rebirth, intense experiences, debt, shared resources, and inheritances. This is a place where Mars can stir a few things up and thus not a time to take any unnecessary chances since you may be predisposed to accidents at this time. Mars' involvement with the eclipse thus suggests that whatever it stirs up is likely to have a significant impact on you in some way or another.

Venus is conjunct the Sun for the eclipse and a little over a week later she will transit the Sun. In other words, if you have the proper equipment you can watch her cross in front of the Sun as a small dot. She is currently retrograde which causes this effect and also changes her character from the Goddess of Love to the Goddess of War. This involves her in this lunation as well since she is not only conjunct the Sun but also squaring Mars. The Warrior Venus excels at defending herself or her needs which in this case are likely to also reside in, you guessed it, your 5th house of ego, romance, children and so forth. In other words, whatever comes your way with this eclipse, you are likely to not sit there and take it but defend yourself by whatever means necessary.

Mercury is also in this house, facilitating information and communications, which will operate well with Saturn in Libra, yet another Air Sign and your 9th house of higher learning, beliefs and expectations, legal matters, long-distance travel, relocation, religion, politics, and other cultures. Saturn has been renovating something in this part of your life and it will be influenced in some way by everything else, whether it's your ego development and self-awareness, creativity or involves a child or lover.

A long-term aspect to keep an eye on involves your modern ruler, Uranus, which is in a square with Pluto for the rest of the year. Pluto, the zodiacal roto-rooter, is in your 12th house which comprises your spirituality, dreams, inspiration, enlightenment, seclusion, confinement, hidden enemies and self-undoing. Thus, over the coming years you will encounter some major changes in this part of your life, eliminating those things which no longer serve you and perhaps entirely transforming your spiritual nature. If you have any self-defeating behaviors, this would be a great time to be rid of them, once and for all.

Uranus is the planet which rules freedom, breakthroughs, technology, innovation, rebellion, surprises, disruptions, disturbances, sudden change and just about anything unexpected. He is in Aries, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, local travel, neighbors and siblings. Thus, encountering numerous situations of a disruptive nature in this part of your life or involving these people is highly likely. The square with Pluto will thus make them more intense and send some reverberations through your 12th house as well, thus involving anything from enlightenment to self-undoing, depending on how you handle the situation.

The New Moon on June 19 is in Gemini. Yes, again. Last month it was at 00:21 Gemini and this time it's at 28:43 Gemini, illustrating the 28 day lunar cycle and the fact the Sun typically moves approximately one zodiacal degree each day. This gives you a second chance at starting something new in this part of your life whether it's a new creative endeavor or related to your children or love interests. Gemini is loaded with planets and therefore energy at this time with not only the Sun and Moon but Venus and Jupiter there as well. Venus is now in full battle regalia, which can be very advantageous for defending your interests and pursuing something you really want to do which has been fraught with various obstacles. She is quincunx Pluto, indicating a change of direction or course which may have been related to something lurking in your 12th house, such as not believing in yourself. Given that Venus is sextile Uranus, this is likely to come about as a surprise, either through a brain storm or something else that sets you on a new path.

The Sun and Moon are both trining Neptune in Pisces, a very strong influence for inspiration. However, Jupiter is squaring Neptune, so there may be some constraints. Mercury is now in Cancer, you 6th house of work, health, service and pets, and may bring some news or information in that part of your life which creates an opportunity for transformational change though this will depend on restructuring some of your established beliefs, which Saturn has already been working on. This looks to me like a chance to break away from anything you've been wanting to leave, anyway, and make a new start, whether it's a creative endeavor, a new romance, or starting a new hobby. There will be a few challenges, but overall it looks as if you could make some excellent progress at this time.
