This month's New Moon on April 10th is in nextdoor neighboring sign, Aries, your 2nd house of finances, income, possessions, needs and pleasures. With luck and a bit of work maybe this will bring you something you like. The parade of planets in your sign has moved on which may or may not be a relief, depending on how you reacted to it. For some of you it may have been too much, removing you entirely from the corporeal world, mentally at least. On the other hand it may have felt comfortable, but at any rate it is mostly over other than Mercury who is in Pisces until around April 15. Then the only planet there on a long-term basis will be your sign ruler, Neptune, who is parked on your natal Sun if your birthday is right around February 23. If that's you, use that energy to get in touch with yourself, especially if you've felt disconnected or lost.

Pisceans have considerable abilities which find little appreciation in the "real" world and at times you may feel estranged from everything and everyone around you. While it may not seem like a gift but rather a cruel trick of fate, this is how you are programmed and all you can do is adapt the best you can. It's no wonder your symbol is the fish since you probably feel like one from time to time as the proverbial fish out of water. The main thing you need to do is get in touch with yourself and accept who and what you are. Once you fully integrate this into your conscious and subconscious mind you will be able to identify the many advantages you have over others and use your talents to the benefit of yourself as well as others.

Okay, I'll get off my soapbox, if that was perceived as one, and get back to this month's lunations. The Sun and Moon are conjunct both Venus and Mars which brings additional energy or perhaps filtering to the New Moon's effects. Mars is at home in Aries, a sign he rules, so can function unfettered which is excellent for taking appropriate action toward something related to your 2nd house whether it's increasing your income, acquiring something new or taking better care of yourself, considering that your most important possession is your body. Venus, your sign's exaltation ruler, rules your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel as well as your 8th house of transformations, sex, death and regeneration, shared resources, debt and intense experiences. She can help your thought process and further help you to identify your specific needs and how to assure they're met.

Uranus will be in Aries for quite some time and is likely to cause a few upsets and disturbances. As modern ruler of your 12th house, if you have any subconscious issues related to money you may have to confront them over the next several years. His connection with Saturn in your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, politics, legal matters, religion, philosophy of life, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation is trying to nudge you in a different direction. Your attitude toward money should be examined for efficacy. Are you too self-sacrificing and doing without what you really want or are you too self-indulgent and a spend-thrift trying to dig your way out of debt? Saturn retrograde can help you figure out a healthy middle ground and how to get there but this may not surface until July. Look at your financial situation with a critical eye and ponder its hows and whys if you're not satisfied with the status quo.

Your traditional ruler, Jupiter, is in fellow Mutable Sign, Gemini, your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories, endings and new beginnings where he is quincunx Pluto in your 11th house of goals, groups, organizations, networking, hopes and wishes. This combination is a good one for discovering what your goals should be, unearthing them from your psyche, seeing the big picture and then making the necessary adjustments to set a new course. This can relate to just about any area of your life but considering all the energy in your income house it would be well-placed with that.

The Full Moon on April 25 is a Lunar Eclipse which gives it a lot more energy and staying power. It occurs in fellow Water Sign, Scorpio, your 9th house defined earlier, and conjunct Saturn, which will bring an emotional component to bear which can be a great energizer for committing to change. Mars is conjunct the Sun which provides additional energy there, even though it is slowed down in Taurus. These two are in your 3rd house of thought, ideas, siblings and neighbors and pair up with Saturn and the Moon to call for balance between seeking out new ideas and incorporating them into your belief system. Neptune can help inspire you how to do this if at times you're not sure what to do. Venus in her dignity in Taurus will further assist with maintaining a positive attitude and eliminating any efforts that are nonproductive. It's worth noting that the general meaning of this eclipse, which is a part of a series which began in 1472, is that of releasing tension related to a lingering situation which is likely to be resolved, even though there may be a sense of loss as it departs. This energy is compatible with that of Pluto who also helps you get rid of anything that you no longer need which can help you clear your energy and function at a higher level.
