The New Moon this month is in Aquarius on February 10th making it an excellent time to meet new people, do some networking or set your goals for the coming months, especially if your birthday is right around April 11.  Money or romantic endeavors may fit into the picture as well, though there are likely to be some restrictions.  It's a favorable time to take care of any old issues, however, that may be standing in your way.  There's a lot of energy in your 12th house of imagination, dreams, visions, enlightenment, institutions, seclusion, confinement, self-undoing and hidden enemies which can be helpful for formulating those goals.  Ideas and a plan of action are favored for the most part but you may encounter a few obstacles if you try to pursue too many things at once.  Jupiter stationed direct the end of January but he is hovering right around the degree of that November solar eclipse which may be kicking a variety of things into action, particularly if that is an active degree in your chart.  Numerous people and clients of mine have had significant happenings the past month or so which can be attributed to that effect.  Jupiter in Gemini can epitomize TMI, or too much information.  An innovative approach to handling it all is favored, especially if your birthday is right around March 27.  If that's you, be aware that Uranus is conjunct your natal Sun which could have a nerve-wracking effect. 

While being unique and innovative is definitely favored, your sense of freedom will be accentuated as well and you may have the urge to break away from everything and everyone, depending on what else is going on in your life.  These effects will be especially strong at this time because Jupiter and Uranus are in partile sextile.  In the context of the New Moon and setting new goals, however, this can be extremely helpful so put it to good work.  Your sign ruler, Mars, is participating as well but at the subconscious level.  This could bring out the Aries tendency to be impulsive, however, and operate at the subconscious level.  This is not always a bad thing, but be aware it's there and don't be too quick to go off on some wild hare.  Remember there's a lot of energy in Pisces, your 12th house, which includes hidden enemies and self-undoing.

The Full Moon on February 25 is in Virgo, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets.  This could bring the culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  The energy in Pisces has increased with the addition of the Sun and Venus is about a sneeze away, meaning half of the planets most commonly used in astrology will be parked in your 12th house.  This is an excellent time for meditation and pondering anything that has been bothering you or required some inspiration to resolve.  Soul-searching is favored and going off somewhere by yourself may be the best way to get in touch with your feelings and determine what course of action is required in whatever your individual situation may be at this time.

Jupiter may be stirring things up a bit by pulling against any inspired ideas that come your way.  Perhaps they'll be too grandiose or complex but don't give up too easily.  First call upon your sense of innovation and focus on taking a unique approach.  Just because you've always done something a certain way does NOT mean it is either correct OR best.  You may have to make a few adjustments in what you want, but an unconventional approach is likely to be the most successful.

Saturn and Pluto are in mutual reception (the sign the other rules) and in partile (same degree) sextile, which is going to last until mid-March and be in orb until the end of April, creating a powerful correspondence between them.  A sextile usually denotes an opportunity but bear in mind both are considered malefic planets which doesn't necessarily bring a positive outcome.  With Pluto the natural ruler of power and control and Saturn covering authority figures of all descriptions, this may not be a good thing.  However, as I have often said, use the energy or it will use you.  This can also infuse you with some extra power to take control of your own life.  Pluto is transiting your 10th house of career, reputation, status and public image which can have a transformation effect in that part of your life.  You are probably feeling that right now if your birthday is right around April 1st.  Saturn in your 8th house of transformation, intense experiences, sex, death and regeneration, debt and shared resources went retrograde on February 18th which will be working on you at the subconscious level to do some rebuilding which of necessity will be preceded by tearing down some old boundaries.  If there is something in this part of your life that is holding you back and preventing you from being your authentic self, now is the time to give it serious consideration and work at making any necessary changes.

Mercury goes retrograde on February 23 so will be extending his stay in Pisces, sign of his debility and fall.  Retrograde Mercury is the time to rethink and redo and with him operating at the subconscious level may not be obvious.  Nonetheless, this can be helpful for moving toward change.  The usual admonitions apply, however, to avoid buying anything mechanical or electronic at this time and brace yourself for a variety of computer and communication glitches which tend to increase when Mercury is doing the backstroke.
