The New Moon this month on June 8 is in Gemini, your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs, pleasures and what you value. This is an excellent time to begin or do something related to this part of your life. Note that doesn't extend for the entire month, but only for the duration of this lunation since on June 26 Mercury goes retrograde and is definitely not a good time to buy anything, especially if it's electronic or mechanical. If nothing else, it's an excellent time to work on your budget.

This lunation brings numerous closed loop aspects which should make for an interesting month. First of all, there's a Cardinal T-Square that comprises that ongoing Uranus - Pluto square with an additional square from Mercury. Mercury is in Cancer, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors, and local travel. This is a generally favorable placement with Mercury accidentally dignified in this house as the natural ruler of thoughts and communications. Note, however, that later this month when he goes retrograde that you will probably be rethinking and redoing a variety of things as this RX period may feel more intense for you on the mental level. Nonetheless, as part of this T-square, he is opposing Pluto in fellow Earth Sign, Capricorn, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, legal matters, religion, politics, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation. Pluto in this house for the next few years will help you sort out and eliminate anything in this part of your life that is no longer useful whether it's an attitude, belief or opinion.

This opposition between Pluto and Mercury will stimulate that process, bringing in new information to bounce against your current belief system for consideration. Then when Mercury is retrograde you will be processing this information and ultimately incorporate portions of it into your view of the world. Uranus, final member of the triad, is in Aries, your 12th house of spirituality, enlightenment, inspiration, dreams, visions, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing. This is quite a power combination that will involve your subconscious, perhaps bringing flashes of inspiration and insight, something you can encourage and tap into through taking some quiet time, engaging in meditation or relaxing deeply enough for your subconscious thoughts and feelings to surface.

In addition to this T-square there is also a Grand Water Trine between your sign ruler, Venus in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces. Thus, your 3rd house of thoughts and such is involved again and personalized by your sign ruler which also rules Libra, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. Saturn is retrograde in Scorpio, your 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, business professionals, cliental, competitors and known enemies. Saturn RX works at restructuring and rebuilding something that has broken down or needs to be reworked. If your birthday is between April 25 - May 2 this transit will oppose your natal Sun, making it more likely to have an effect. This is a time to scrutinize the people in your life and what may need to be changed about how the relationship is operating. The trine to Venus in your house of thoughts and ideas will be helpful for thinking things through and figuring out what action to take. Neptune is in your 11th house of goals, groups, organizations, networking, hopes and wishes. Neptune can provide great inspiration, but it can sometimes be too idealistic or outside the bounds of reality. Hopefully in this Grand Trine the input will be positive. Neptune is somewhat of a de-motivator, however, where you rather daydream about your aspirations than do anything to achieve them. Nonetheless, hopefully you will receive the enlightenment required to work out any issues that require attention.

Mars is also in your 2nd house of income and possessions and in the same degree as the Grand Trine members are in their respective sign, so he is aspecting all of them. Mars is the antithesis of Neptune and will motivate you, though he has a bit of a challenge getting past Neptune's dreamy lack of action. He will push you to make the necessary changes of direction or adjustments needed in that relationship, however, so give proper heed to his push to "git 'r' dun."

The Full Moon on June 23 is in Capricorn, another Earth Sign, and trine your natal Sun if your birthday is right around April 22. This creates an aspect pattern known as a Triangle of Potential where your Sun mitigates the opposition between the Sun and Moon with favorable aspects to the two of them, i.e. a trine to the Moon and sextile to the Sun. With the Sun in your house of thoughts you can expect to see things relatively clearly. Furthermore, the Sun has replaced Venus in the Grand Trine so this could be when you really get a good look at your situation. Remember that a Full Moon usually indicates an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase. Your sign ruler, Venus, is conjunct Mercury, which can help you communicate your side of things with love and understanding. Remember, however, that on June 26 Mercury goes retrograde, making it actually a good time to rethink, review and revise anything that needs to be reconsidered. Mars is unaspected, however, which may provide a bit of inertia, but this may not be a bad thing while Mercury is retrograde and it's probably not the best time to act, anyway. Jupiter enters Cancer on June 27, another favorable influence in your house of thoughts and such for taking a broad, philosophical view of things. That Uranus - Pluto aspect is still in effect as well, so continue to watch your back for unpleasant surprises from hidden enemies. Other than that, you're in reasonably good shape this month.
