This month's New Moon on March 11 brings a tsunami of Piscean energy with Neptune, Mercury (still retrograde), Venus, Mars, the asteroid, Chiron and the Sun and Moon all in Pisces. You would have to be braindead not to feel it or at least observe its effects in the world around you. This is a time to get in touch with what you really want to be when you grow up. In other words, reflect upon your fondest dreams, particularly any you gave up on years ago. Part of you dies with any abandoned dream and there's no time like the present to do something about it. Pisces is the domain of the concept that "thoughts become things" and even if this isn't your normal view of the world there is plenty of cosmic energy out there presently to help you along.

A New Moon is an excellent time to start a new project, particularly one that relates to money, your finances or taking care of yourself and your own needs. This is not to say you should walk all over everyone else in your life, which would be unlike an Aquarius anyway, but if you've been deferring your needs for those around you this may be the time to look out for yourself for a change. This may not be easy, given that Pisces is a very charitable, self-sacrificing sign. Furthermore, Mercury retrograde in Pisces produces a rather difficult energy when it comes to communications. He's already in debility and fall in that sign, self-explanatory descriptions based on a planet's placement in the zodiac which is not conducive to optimum function. Mercury prefers to be clear and precise with a solid basis in fact which is antithetical to Pisces' nature. Instead, this location is likely to produce a general brain fog, lack of motivation, confusion, inability to concentrate and devil-may-care attitude. As an Air Sign this is not your normal state and is likely to be frustrating, whether it's affecting you or those around you who have all suddenly become space cadets. The important thing is to recognize what is going on and just go with it and relax. Meditation should come quite naturally with this influence making it easier to access your deepest and fondest desires, inspiration, self-hypnosis and your subconscious.

Your creativity can benefit provided you aren't entirely overwhelmed with too many ideas, which is very possible. These ideas may come readily but be in the easy-come, easy-go realm and evaporate almost as quickly as they appear. Therefore, you would do well to write them down in enough detail to recall later. Innovation and individuality are likewise present but fully defining what that comprises could also get lost in the flood, further indicating the need to take good notes. Depending on what is going on with your status generally, including your career, this influx of information from whatever dimension it hails from will come in handy later. There is something in this part of your life which needs to be restructured and Saturn is ruminating on that. He is ready to team up with Pluto and put that emotional energy to pursue your dreams into solid form. This probably won't happen for six months or so but if you plant the seeds now they have a good chance of germinating later.

While you're in touch with your subconscious is an excellent time to deal with old issues that need to be taken care of and removed from your life once and for all. Freedom from worry, anger, hurt feelings and any other baggage you're toting around may take some effort to resolve but this is as good of time as any to do so when you're not overly energetic about doing anything, anyway. Also mind your health at this time and don't over-indulge. Bear in mind that Neptune rules the flu and, unlike Mercury, is in his home sign and functioning on all cylinders, making it no big surprise this has been a flu season from hell.

The Full Moon on March 27 is in fellow Air Sign, Libra, and will trine your natal Sun if your birthday is right around January 26. Libra is your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, legal matters, politics, religion, other cultures, long-distance travel and other cultures. Watch for a culmination, ending or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life. This would logically tie into any brainstorms related to the New Moon which could set you off in a new direction. By this time, gratefully, the faster moving planets except for Mercury, who has at least gone direct by now, have moved into Aries. At this point the vacation is somewhat over, even though Mercury is still traveling through fantasyland. This could be a good thing that keeps you connected to your dreams and aspirations which germinated with the New Moon. Meanwhile energy is increasing as the better part of the planetary entourage enters Aries, including the Sun, Venus, Mars and Uranus, who is there for the long-term. Aries is your 3rd house which includes thoughts, ideas, siblings, local travel and neighbors.

Note the polarity of the Full Moon which is of course the case every month. Thoughts in your 3rd house naturally evolve into your beliefs in the 9th house which will facilitate that ending or shift implied by the lunation. Aries is all about taking action and going after what you want so this is perfect now that you've gotten yourself fired up. Emotional energy and commitment are essential to any endeavor and probably are key to getting the Universe to assist you as you send those vibes of your intent out to the cosmos. Your life is complex and changing direction usually involves undoing a few things before you can make significant progress in a new direction. Disentangling yourself from anything holding you back should be pursued at this time regardless of how much resistance you may get from that part of you that doesn't want to let go. If your birthday is right around January 31 you will be feeling these influences in a way which can be live-changing. Bolster your pioneering spirit by associating with like-minded individuals who encourage your new direction with a positive attitude. Ditch the naysayers and go after what you want. Letting go of what is familiar for new territory can be scary but also invigorating and exciting. Remember that whether you believe you can or believe you can't, you're usually correct.
