The New Moon on March 11 is in over-populated Pisces creating a virtual tsunami in your 12th house which includes spirituality, dreams, visions, institutions, seclusion, confinement, hidden enemies and self-undoing. This is the house of angels and demons and can be equally elusive, especially for you Rams who are inclined to go after what you want with a motto that often resembles "Lead, follow or get out of the way." However, every astrological influence has a dual nature and it's up to you to use the energy in a manner that benefits you or it will use you as it sees fit. If you're a typical Aries, that simply won't do. If your birthday is right around March 28 you are already wanting to break free from anything holding you back. Your plate is full enough of your own ideas and doesn't have room for anyone else's. However, it's likely that attaining the freedom you want is easier said than done.

For this lunation you need to be aware of what is going on due to the sheer magnitude of cosmic energy operating in a house that tends to be beneath your radar. It is unusual to have four planets as well as the Sun and Moon in the same sign, along with the asteroid, Chiron, a.k.a. "the wounded healer." Your sign ruler, Mars, is a sneeze away from entering Aries, which will help substantially, but for the New Moon he's still stuck in a water environment distracting to his nature. While you are probably more given to action than contemplation, it would probably be in your best interest to take some time to do just that. On the positive side, it's hard to pursue your fondest dreams if you don't know definitively what they are. On the less positive side, self-defeating behaviors can be major stumbling blocks. With this plethora of planets sharing the same environment getting in touch with this part of yourself should be easier than usual. Sort of.

Mercury went retrograde toward the end of last month and is still in that state for the New Moon. Mercury is already both debilitated and in fall in Pisces, somewhat intuitively obvious conditions for his energy in that sign. Mercury likes clear, concise facts and precision which are hard to attain in a dreamy, fantasy-oriented environment which is further exacerbated by being retrograde. In other words, the ruler of your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel as well as your 6th house of work, service, health and pets, is on vacation in the Caribbean and won't be checking in for at least a week. With logical thought suspended, however, this is the time to take a close look at the spiritual side of life, your subconscious desires, dreams, fantasies and such practicalities as what you really want to be when you grow up. It's also a time to identify and address any self-defeating behaviors. Often these are buried in your subconscious and totally invisible but this should be a good time to find and confront them. Once your figure out what your dreams are you would do well to also determine why you're not already living them. Neptune is the master of the concept "thoughts become things" so you need this part of you in proper alignment to what you want at the deepest level.

Too many ideas and thoughts may be coming your way currently, which will also make it difficult to focus. It will take concerted control and determination to sort things out, but the benefits can be life-changing. Reinventing and rebuilding yourself as an individual are in-work whether you realize it or not. The key is to become mentally and emotionally involved in what you want to pursue, clear the deck of anything in your way and go for it.

The Full Moon, which typically denotes an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase or winding down, is on March 27 in your polar sign, Libra, which represents your 7th house of relationships. If your birthday is right around that date it will have additional import. Gratefully, by this time Venus, the Sun and your sign ruler, Mars, have moved into your sign which will bring energy which is much more familiar. Mercury, while now direct, is still in Pisces, however, so your thinking and judgment could still be quite cloudy. Use this to continue to define your vision as you begin to take action. Those of you with birthdays right around April 1st will get a significant boost from this lunation as well with Mars conjunct your natal Sun. Taking action on new ideas which can transform your status as well as you personally is favored, even though the final results will be a while in coming. You have to change before anything else does because you are where you are at this point in time for a reason. You didn't get there by accident, you got there through your own decisions and actions. Thus, if you don't like where you are you have no one to blame but yourself. These lunations can thus be of great assistance if you harness the energies properly to clean out the garage, either figuratively or literally, and make room for new ambitions which will provide you with the satisfaction and joy you're looking for in life.
