This month the New Moon on March 11 is in fellow Mutable Sign, Pisces, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status. "Status" is quite a catch-all that compares to just about anything you may post on Facebook and considering all the planets in Pisces for this lunation it's nearly inevitable that there is something going on in this part of your life. The New Moon typically brings something new and this will be even more probable if your birthday is right around June 12. Your sign ruler, Mercury, is amongst the Pisces entourage and retrograde to boot in what is the sign of his debility and fall, intuitively obvious designations related to how he operates there. A simple analogy to the effects would be a few too many glasses of your favorite adult beverage. This is definitely Brain Fog Central and a difficult albeit dangerous time to make important decisions. If your birthday is right around May 29 this will have the strongest effect for this lunation and if your birthday is right around June 10 you will also feel it since he stationed retrograde squaring your natal Sun. Resolving any active issues in your life may have to wait until at least the middle of this month and perhaps as long as the first week of April.

Inspiration is possible, however, which may be exactly what you need right now. Retrograde Mercury always sends you back to the drawing board to reconsider, rethink, re-plan or redo something and being a logic-driven Air Sign there may be times when being forced to rely on something other than your brain to obtain and process information is a good thing. This is a favorable time to get in touch with your intuition and emotions which can serve you equally well once you get accustomed to using them. I, for one, took a long time to realize that whenever my head and heart were in disagreement that I went with my head and usually lived to regret it. There are numerous dilemmas, particularly those involving other people, which can't be solved with logic alone.

The planets besides the Sun, Moon and Mercury which are in Pisces for this lunation include Neptune, Venus, Mars and the asteroid, Chiron, a.k.a. "the wounded healer." This is a vast array of energies with some very comfortable in that environment and others confused or lost. Neptune is in the sign of his dignity as ruler of Pisces and thus able to function unencumbered. This can result in a significant flow of inspirational energy, another reason to hone your skills for accessing information from that realm since he will be there for a long, long time. Venus is well-placed in Pisces as well, this being the sign of her exaltation where her loving nature meets compassion and the collective. She could team up with Chiron to help someone in a way that brings tremendous satisfaction to both parties. The simplest definition of Chiron's function is to help others through trials you have already suffered through. Mars is a bit lost in Pisces where his action-oriented direct energy is best described as the god of war afloat in a life raft in the middle of the ocean while a battle rages on shore. Not knowing what to do or not being able to for some reason is a likely effect but he will go into the sign of his dignity, Aries, within a day or so and be able to hit the ground running. As traditional ruler of your house of work and service and ruler of your house of goals and groups any activities in those venues should get a major boost at that time.

If your birthday is between May 30 - June 3 you may be slightly overwhelmed with options at this time, resulting in too many choices or too much information to process, especially with Mercury on vacation somewhere in the South Pacific. You have Jupiter to thank for this as he touches base with your natal Sun. His expansive nature which tends to generalizations is short-circuited by the preponderance of data you prefer to work with and could result in too many ideas to manage. He is at the eye of a yod, however, that with the help of Pluto and Saturn may help manager it such that you can achieve focus again. Pluto is in your 8th house of transformations, shared resources, sex, debt, death and rebirth and intense experiences where he is accidentally dignified as the natural ruler of such things. He is in cahoots with Saturn, currently also retrograde, in Scorpio, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. Saturn RX is all about restructuring which involves significant delays in the meantime. We're talking the July timeframe here before a viable plan is likely to agreed upon. This change in your work environment, or perhaps a health issue, will have a transformational effect that results in new vistas of some sort for you. Meanwhile, all those planets in Pisces can help provide input from distant realms that can provide guidance and inspiration for the journey ahead.

The Full Moon on March 27 is in fellow Air Sign, Libra, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, entertainment and speculation, suggesting an ending or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life. By this time Venus and Mars have moved into Aries along with the Sun, providing a significant burst of energy. Mercury is still in Pisces but at least in direct motion, still feeding the inspirational side but still not a comfortable functionality for most Geminis. Venus is conjunct the Sun, a condition that could result in a bit of selfishness as you pursue your goals with a vengeance. Be aware that these actions may require some adjustment, particularly with that remodeling going on under Saturn's purview so be a bit wary of casting anything in stone. Remember that Mercury is still in debility so your decision-making power may not be at its best. Balance between your goals, the needs of others and your obligations may be a bit of a challenge at this time but remember that there are forces at work that are moving toward those new vistas. At this point, especially those of you with birthdays at the end of May and first few days of June, may begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel but recognize that it's not over until the fat lady sings, which is the role Saturn is playing until his retrograde journey ends around July 8.
